I am Courtney Kernaghan, a twenty-three year old recent Zoology graduate and full time animal lover. Gained a first class mark in my dissertation on animal welfare of dairy cows. Enjoy spending as much time as I can when home with my gorgeous Yorkshire Terrier dog Harvey and watching any programme animal related.
Completing a animal based degree has increased my love and passion for animals in particular their welfare. Therefore, the opportunity of gaining one-on-one quality time with an animal to make them feel loved and have an enjoyable experience is everything that I look for. I am a very motivated, enthusiastic and hard working person, especially when animals are involved. I am not put off by larger and exotic pets, I welcome them all.
I have tons of energy to help with feeding, cleaning and walking related activities, I am not afraid to get messy and involved.
I have experience working with birds, dogs, cats, farm animals, horses and small rodents, not opposed to looking after reptiles either. As well as some experience in basic dog training, with taking my own dog to puppy training and agility classes. Adjacent to my house there is plenty of room for pets to run and play as well as local parks nearby.
