Hi!
I hold a Masters of Science degree in Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare. My specific research interests are on the wellbeing and behaviour of companion animals! I am an experienced pet sitter, and an owner of two cats, two chickens, indoor and outdoor fish, and a lovely dog. Looking after animals, in addition to understanding the motivation behind their behaviours, is my life's passion.
For the past three months I have been interning at the Penn Vet Working Dog Centre in Philadelphia – training a variety of working dogs including cancer detection, search and rescue, odour detection (narcotics, explosives, arson etc.) police patrol, and wildlife conservation dogs.
Having studied animal welfare I am well equipped in understanding your animal's needs and providing optimal care. I have work experience as an assistant in a veterinary practise, over ten years working as a stable-hand and have pet-sit various species of various ages.
I am currently based in Ipswich and have use of a car. If you are not located within walking distance of lenghily walks I am happy to transport your dog as long as they are safe and comfortable travelling in cars. I love looking after cats and rabbits too, and am happy to stop in multiple times per day for feeding/letting out.
I hope to hear from you!
