Hi my name is Suzanne Rose I have always loved animals. Especially dogs and cats. I have had pets all my life and have a real passion and connection to them. I am mainly looking for looking after a pet/pets 5-6 days a week as a permanent placement I would ideally like to look after the pet during the day while parents are at work.
I am also a very proud member of the Brook charity, a charity for working horses and donkeys around the world especially North Africa.
Helping with veterinary care and training for those that use the animal for work purposes so they do not suffer or are over worked. RSPCA, blue cross and compassion for world farming.
I have a wonderful little dog called Oscar he is seven and is the biggest part of my family; is energetic a bit cheeky and a real mummy's boy. I am experienced with taking care of pets and their needs emotional and physical which is so important for their development and contentment.
Our pets are the most loyal and loving creatures, the least we can do is give back to them what they give to us. Oscar has been diagnosed with epilepsy since 2014 so I give him six types of medication 3 times a day to keep his seizures at bay and also regular trips to the vets. I do my best to keep his anxieties to a minimum as this can bring episodes on. This has given me the chance to acquire an extensive experience in looking after pets that need that extra help such as giving oral medication through syringe and any other instructions given by the vets.
I can clip nails, brush teeth, apply flee treatments worming treatments and ear drops correctly. I can also do a good trim as I groom Oscar myself. I am a lover of doggy bath time, it's a lovely intimate moment with your pet as well as the drying and brushing process. I'm a big fan of out door, adventure and nature; playing fetch with favourite toys and throwing balls with Oscar. I can play in or outside of the house. I like to keep Oscar engaged and give healthy treats as insentives just in time for a well deserved cosy nap with kisses and strokes in my arms.
I like to keep fit so a long walk is so good for me as well as the dog. ( much more fun than the gym so this is ideal) I'm a very loving and sensitive person and understand if my dog is having an off day I take care to suit his needs. They are just like us and sometimes need that extra something, they may have not slept well or just might be anxious and stressed due to changes etc. I feel I am in tune and have an innate sensitivity with those feelings and diverse personalities.
Every dog is different and I like to really get to know the individual pet. I am available Monday- Wednesday and sometimes weekends usually as I have no regular commitments at the moment. I am available mostly in South West London. I have no children so last minute bookings are fine and not a problem if things change unexpectedly for the client.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
