Kath is based in central Cambridge and has hands-on experience volunteering at charitable organisations that specialised in rescuing stray cats and kittens, public education and also general animal welfare (e.g., Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals/ SPCA, Kitten Sanctuary, etc.). The work involves taking care of cats and animals that reside at the organisation.
She also has experience owning and taking care of small pets such as hamsters and other rodents.
She is currently working hard towards getting her own cat (or maybe more than just one cat) and to providing a good environment for the pet to live with her in a forever home. Hopefully this dream will come true very very soon.
In the meantime, she would be happy to offer help to pet owners in need and at the same time will be getting a lot of positive energy from cute lovely animals.

For our small rodent guests, I’d provide toys and tunnels if they are not already present in their little homes.Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements: After a day full of activities, your pet can unwind in cozy sleeping area prepared just for them, ensuring they feel safe and at home.Socialization and Enrichment: Pets thrive on interaction. I offer supervised socialization sessions for pets to make new friends and enjoy group activities tailored to their temperament and play style.
During Day:Daily exercise either outside or indoors, tons of cuddles, play time and anything else they might need. :) happy to take photos and send them to youMorning: The day begins with a healthy breakfast followed by a morning walk for my canine guests. Cats start their day with some cuddle time and light play, while our rodent friends explore their designated play areas.
Midday: After the morning activities, pets enjoy a rest period in their cozy spaces. Post rest, it’s time for interactive play sessions or socialization under my close supervision, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Afternoon: As the day progresses, we embark on another round of walks for dogs in nearby parks or trails, ensuring they get plenty of exercises. Cats engage in stimulating activities like feather wand chasing, while rodents have their time in exercise wheels or mazes.
Evening: Dinner time is a quiet affair, with each pet receiving their meals as per their dietary plans. Post dinner, there’s time for gentle play or cuddles before settling down for the night.
Night: Our night-time routine involves a final bathroom break for dogs and a cozy wind-down period for all pets, ensuring they are calm and ready for a good night's sleep.My spacious backyard is perfect for supervised play and exploration, providing a safe and stimulating environment for your pets.

Hello! My name is Emma and I'm originally from and currently living in Cambridge and working In a boarding school for international students. I am crazy about animals, and I have grown up with many different cats, dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs.I have experience caring for cats, not just my own, but for friends and family members who have trusted me to look after their pets when on holiday. I have also worked in a petshop and as a dog walker.I've always been especially passionate about cats and at the moment I have a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who is 15 years old and I adore. I think that each animal has its own unique personality and it is important to adapt your care according to their specific needs. As a calm person I also find this helps animals in my company to feel safe.On pet visits I can offer feeds, changing of water bowls, cleaning litter trays, plenty of cuddles (if the animal is comfortable of course) and play. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I want to make sure they feel loved and cared for even when you are not home.I have previously cared for pets of friends and family (cats, dogs and a hamster) and I am confident in handling different needs and personalities. I offer one 30-minute home visit a day, to stop by your place to feed and play with your pet. I am available after 5:00 pm on weekdays and during the whole day on weekends.
