I grew up around lots of animals and love nothing more than spending time with them. My grandparents where I spent a lot of time when I was younger were farmers and my family had rabbits, hamsters, cats and dogs so I am very used to being around and caring for a variety of animals.
I currently live in Guildford with my two cats and hope to get a dog in future (for now I spent a lot of time with my mother in law's dog to compensate!).&nbsp;
I have pet sat for many others in the past and would describe myself as reliable, confident and able to build a quick rapport with your pets. Having grown up with dogs, they have become a large part of my life. I had a Golden Retriever called Setra who we unfortunately lost in 2013. 8 years ago, we introduced Archie to our family. He is a Golden Retriever Spaniel and a Cockapoo. He is my bestfriend and I miss him terribly when I am away at University.&nbsp;
Being at University, means I no longer have the opportunity to take Archie out on our daily walks. This job will allow to me fill that gap which I am incredibly excited for.&nbsp;
Both Archie and Setra have incredibly different personalities. Setra was able to walk without a lead and was comfortable in public settings. Archie is a lot more nervous. Having that experience with two very different temperaments has taught me how best to care for dogs depending on their personalities.&nbsp;
Being a pet owner myself, I wholeheartedly understand the importance of placing your pet in the care of someone you can trust who will love and care for them as their own.&nbsp;
