I have great experience of petsitting in Brighton and Hove -&nbsp; it's the best job in the world! I love going for walks, but going without a dog feels a bit strange.&nbsp;I adore canine company, and understand that dogs respond to calm, confidence and positivity. Your fur baby is safe with me: I’ll talk to them, play with them and always be clued-in to their needs and behaviour.&nbsp;I often do pet sits via this app, Pawshake, trusted house sitters, borrow my doggy and word of mouth. I have volunteered in dog shelters, where many had behavioural problems and needed special care. I've just come back from volunteering at a dog shelter in Portugal, where I helped to look after around 90 dogs. I have also been a volunteer at a dog hotel, where I helped to look after (and spoil!) around 30 guests. I work from home, love walking, and love dogs, so I thought, why not help others and at the same time have the opportunity to have dogs again in my life.&nbsp;
I am dedicated to providing my furry companions with the best care possible. I understand their needs and strive to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe.
I have deep empathy for dogs and treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve.&nbsp;Above all, I love dogs unconditionally and enjoy spending time with them, whether going for a walk, playing games, or simply cuddling on the sofa.
I am working full time, but from home, therefore I can look after dogs during the week and at the weekends, providing sufficient walks and toilet breaks as many times as needed during the day.
I always follow the rules given by the owners and keep dogs on the lead if that is requested. I have a communal garden, which is fenced, but also live very close to local woods that provide great opportunities for dogs to exercise and have some fun outside.

We are Courtney &amp; Dan, a Kiwi and Brit living in Brighton with our two year old daughter. We've been looking after doggos since living in NZ through fostering which included us then adopting our 9 year old Cavapoo called Arlo. We all made the move back (including Arlo) to the UK in 2023, to be closer to family. We recently had to say goodbye to our pup Arlo to doggy heaven and looking to pour our love into looking after your companion.
Dan works from home and I have taken a sabbatical, so the doggos will always have one of us to to look after them. We have a fully fenced enclosed garden. When we are house sitting, we please request your pup is good with young children, and that they up to date with worm and flea treatments to protect all. We only look after one client's dog at a time but happy to take more than one dog from the same family.
We are flexible to follow your pup's schedule &amp; needs for eating, walking &amp; sleeping and can discuss upon an initial meet.
Our home is close to the South Downs, perfect for long dog walks in the countryside.
