Being brought up on a farm I have always had a passion for looking after animals. So much so I have been a qualified veterinary nurse for almost 20 years. I’m a dog owner of a very loving 14yr old crossbreed who loves other animals and I am also a keen dog walker. Your pet would be treated like my own and welcomed into our family home.&nbsp;
I now work part time and flexible shifts around my family with my husband also able to work from home to accommodate any pets we have in our care.&nbsp;
I have a secure fenced garden and your pet will have the run of the house.&nbsp;
We also have access to my families private fields within walking distance and we also have crates available depending on preference.&nbsp;
If your fur baby is used to sleeping on the bed then that is absolutely fine with us.

About My Services
I provide tailored pet care including dog boarding, day care, dog walking, and drop-in visits. This includes feeding, exercise and companionship. I’m also able to administer oral or topical medication, provided clear instructions are given.&nbsp;
To ensure each dog receives plenty of individual attention, I board no more than 2 dogs at a time, unless they’re from the same household and then i will board 3.
How long are your dog walks?Walks are usually around 30 minutes to 1hr long, but I can tailor the duration depending on your dog’s needs, energy level, or any health considerations.
How many walks do you offer per day?For dogs staying with me for boarding or day care, I offer 2 walks a day, in addition to supervised outdoor playtime if the weather allows.
How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine?Caring for animals is an important part of my daily life. I build my schedule around their needs: feeding, walks, playtime and rest, so they feel secure, comfortable, and loved.
What is your availability like?I’m generally available throughout the week, including weekends and most bank holidays. Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak periods.
What is your home like?I live in a safe, clean, and pet-friendly home with enough space for dogs to relax and play. Guest pets are welcome in all areas of the house and can enjoy a calm, comfortable environment.
Who else lives in your home? Any family members, housemates, or pets?I live with my husband and 3 daughters who are currently 10, 8 and 5yrs old as of 2026, all of whom love animals and are experienced with pet care. We have 1 dog of our own, Denzel.
Where are guest pets allowed to sleep?Dogs can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable, whether in their own bed, in a crate, on our bed or in a quiet, cosy area of my home. I’ll always follow your usual routine as closely as possible.
Do you have a garden? If so, what is it like?Yes, I have a fully enclosed garden with secure gate. It’s a safe, tidy space for dogs to enjoy some fresh air and outdoor play under supervision. I also have full access to private fields on my families farm which is within walking distance.

Solo Dog Walks is my speciality, the walks on this App show as 30 mins I can offer up to 45 mins if required,  based in Bredbury and cover Stockport and the surrounding areas. Your Dogs will be walked in suitable fields etc near your location or mine if nearby. Dog Walking is my primary business, I have experience in handling high- drive , high energy, reactive working line dogs from a Police Dog Handling background. I walk the Dogs others may avoid on a 1-1 Solo Walk only allowing the Dog to have that attention fun and creativity on a 1-1 basis for those that dogs that might be anxious, nervous, reactive etc If you need help walking dogs in and around the Stockport area especially high drive working line big heavy dogs that might be a bit too much for some people then please come to me and I will do my best to find availability around what is a quickly filling schedule with the demand. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and caring for them brings me so much joy. I’m the proud owner of a playful and bubbly dachshund puppy called Han, who has completely stolen my heart. Han loves meeting new dogs, especially when they’re up for a game and plenty of cuddles, so I know firsthand how important it is to give pets the attention, exercise, and affection they need to be happy and healthy.
I also have plenty of hands-on experience looking after my family’s pets, often caring for them for several days at a time. Working late or away on business? Fancy a holiday or a long weekend away? As difficult as it is leaving our furry friends alone at times, finding a temporary companion shouldn’t be! The Pet Valet is a home-based pet sitting service in the Manchester area, catered to dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more!
What do the home visits include?
Each home visit is entirely dependent on the customers’ requirements and what help their beloved pets need most, and these needs can be met by detailing them in an online or over-the-phone enquiry. However, a typical 30 minute home visit to your pet will most likely include:
•Being fed &amp; watered
•Being let out to use the toilet
•Litter tray/cage cleaning
•Fuss, playtime &amp; attention
•Short walks &amp; fresh air (Longer walks can extended for a small fee)
•Photo updates after each visit!
Who is Pet Valet MCR operated by? And who will be making my pets’ home visits?!
Pet Valet MCR is ran by owners and service facilitators, Kieron and Emily (that’s us!). We are a couple in our late 20's and have life-long experience being around animals and our love for them is immeasurable. We have particular experience working with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and house rabbits—but we are more than confident/comfortable to pet-sit any additional pets of a more… ‘extraordinary’ (shall we say?) species!
We are currently adopters to two RSPCA rescue house rabbits, Fran and Cooper (who aren't exactly thrilled about us working with animals other than themselves but they'll have to deal with it!).

My name is Anusha and I'm a 19-year-old first year student at the University of Manchester. I'm currently living in Dalton Ellis Hall, Conyngham Road although next year I will be in Denmark Road near University Place. I am here for my undergrad degree in Business Management with an industrial year. 
I absolutely love and adore dogs, infact I have had 3 of my own back in my home country for more than 10 years. I had a fully grown german shephard and 2 lhasa apsos. I used to take them for long walks, clean and bathe them and administer medicines when they get sick. I prefer spending quality time with them during the day and evening, however for an overnight sitting my accommodation would not allow me to do so. I feel dogs act as the best stress buster for me and instantly cheer me up. This will surely help me during exam times and my day to day university routine. 
I would prefer the dogs I borrow to be vaccinated for my personal safety. I would also prefer them to be friendly and fun loving. I dont mind small, medium and large dogs, although very large dogs can be a little difficult for me to handle alone. 
Lastly, I assure the dog owner that their dog will be taken good care of :)
