I have 2 spayed female rescue dogs, Dot a 10 year old (we think) and Lotti a 4 year old.&nbsp; I love dogs and my life has been taken over by my two beautiful girls.&nbsp; I'm home the majority of the time and available to assist you with your dogs care.

Having worked from home for 5 years I'm now venturing out working from home for myself.&nbsp; My dogs don't like going to the toilet in the garden so I am out walking 3 times a day (about an hour and half in total each day) and I have been lucky enough to incorporate and adapt working life around their needs. 

They have been great at accepting dogs to stay with us, so much so they're sometimes quite sad when they have gone.  As I already have two I only take one dog at a time and 3 is manageable when we're out walking.

I only offer sitting at the house so that I don't leave my two girls home alone anymore than needed.  I always ask to do a meet and greet out on a walk when receiving new enquiries before confirming to ensure that all the dogs get along.  For a first stay I make a point of ensuring I'm home all the time to ensure all the dogs are settled.  
It's just me and my 2 dogs in the house so if a repeat or longer stay I will need to be in and out at times.  I ensure that all the dogs are settled together for the first day or two before leaving them alone and then it is only generally for a couple of hours to go to the gym or do a food shop etc.  I have a camera set up when dogs are staying so that I can keep checking in on them and that they are all settled.

If your dog requires oral medication I'm well versed in administering as both of mine have required medication at times.

I have a house with open plan space downstairs and room for crates if needed.  My dogs sleep downstairs and aren't allowed upstairs.&nbsp; 

I have a garden and live near Swinley Forest so lots of great areas for dog walking locally.

I had dogs and cats my whole life and absolutely love taking care of them! I have attended puppy training classes, and frequently volunteer at dog shelters. I’m a veterinary assistant, before that I was at a dog kennels; providing the care for dogs and cats. I’ve got a certificate in animal management care level 2 diploma. Always loved things big and small. Tend to spend majority of my time at home with my animals making sure their needs are kept up with. I go out on daily walks with my dog three or four times a day. Very active. If not I'm at home with both dog and cat playing with them and implementing training needed. ￼
Check food and medications required with the owner ahead of time. Before taking on a dog, make sure the owner supplies you with enough food, and if they're on a special diet, get the details from the owner ahead of time or at drop-off. If the dog requires specific medication, you need to be comfortable giving this.
The daily animal caretaking routine usually involves feeding and providing drinking water for each animal, making sure that their enclosure is clean, safe, appropriately warm, and, if needed, stocked with materials to keep the animal active and engaged. I seem to have the magic touch when it comes to animals. 

Hi doggy parents! We are Irene and David, a couple on our 30's who absolutely love dogs! We have a little cavapoo called Mia. She's 10 months old and very friendly with people and other dogs.Our house is located close to Reading town center. It's a 2 bed house in which our sofa is their sofa. We have a decent size fenced garden where Mia loves to play, roll over and sunbathe. We live by the river and have a nice path where we go for walkies every day. We're also close to parks where dogs can play and run around.We have Mia since February but have plenty of experience with other dogs. Mia is Irene's 4th dog (always had family dogs since I can remember. We've had mix breed dogs and currently a very active border collie). David had a family dog when he was younger as well (a cute bichon frise), so Mia is his 2nd.We are the official pet-sitters for family and friends and we've taken care of their doggies several times for both, daycare and boarding, so lots of experience as we've had puppies, active dogs, slightly "troubled" dogs (a dog scared of pretty much everything as she's a rescued dog) and also older dogs that love to chill.What do we offer?I (Irene) work from home 3 days a week (flexible) so your dog will never be alone, I'll be with them all the time! Our day care would be 8hr (flexible hours) but if you need more we'll have a chat when needed :)We offer 2/3 walks a day (weather dependent): one in the morning (around 8:30am or 9am) for about 20/30 min, then a longer walk of 1hr on my lunch break (around 1pm) and then another one in the evening (around 5pm or 6pm) for 30min to 1hr. Lots of play and cuddles at home in between all that of course!We do different things on the weekends (going to the river, forest, picnics, etc) so we can always adapt to your dog's needs and include them in all plans if that's ok with you!We'd also love to teach them or practice tricks and skills, we do a bit of "training" every day!I can also do basic grooming (wash, brush and clean eyes and ears).Happy to send regular updates, pics and videos for you to know your dog is in good hands. Rest assured he/she will feel at home and will have all the love and affection they need &lt;3*IMPORTANT BITS*We only take fully vaccinated and NEUTERED dogs. Mia is also fully vaccinated but not spayed yet.We'd take SMALL and MEDIUM dogs ONLY and just one at a time (1 dog + ours) for now, so Mia doesn't feel overwhelmed or intimidated. The most important for us is that they feel comfortable and want to come back here.
