For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Mirfield for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Mirfield Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Mirfield sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

As a lifelong dog mum I know how vital it is to feel your best pal is in the safest of hands whilst you are away! I live with 2 charming Cavalier King Charles who love to be around other dogs and are happy to share their home.
Chester's House & Gardens, fully licensed (with Kirklees Council) & insured Dog Home Boarding provides a home away from home for your best pal with luxurious accommodation and meticulously personalised care in terms of feeding, exercise, medications and anything else your pal needs
Chester, our Boss says "We make sure that your best friend becomes ours too. Our large secure garden is where we can play out and have loads of fun at anytime, Roise (my sister) and I both love racing around it. Long walks over fields with our mum Sharon are something we really enjoy doing and often we call at a coffee shop on the way back, sometimes Sharon gets us a sausage to share! In the evenings we curl up on the sofa until it's time for bed." That's what your pal would do too when they stay with us.

I've been dog walking professionally for years, as well as boarding. We've had everything from Pomeranians to Alaskan Malamutes. I've handled extremely strong (physically and mentally) dogs of all breeds so I'm not put off by much! All the dogs get to stay in a home from home environment during their stay, they allowed on sofas and have free roam of the house, we try to encourage to stay off the bed but can always have a quick cuddle in the morning. On walks, I take most my dogs to secure fields where they can be let off lead and have full freedom, as well as a good play with other dogsI've got qualifications in Animal Management, Canine Buisness and I'm Pet First Aid trained. I'm a massive dog person and always have been! I finally got my first dog in 2021 and he's the best thing I've ever bought. He's super chill and loves company from fellow dog friends. Although massive on dogs, I am partial to a cat or two Your pets will be very well cared for and loved unconditionally.

My walks are usually around an hour long, and I love getting outdoors with a four-legged friend by my side. Every pet is unique, so I'll always follow your instructions carefully to keep their routine as normal as possible. I'll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in safe hands. Before any booking, I'll arrange a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet, discuss their routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before we begin. If you'd like to know more or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message.
