Hello!

I am a doctor based in Glasgow and about to start specialty training in September, therefore I am looking for some pet sitting work to do over August until then! I adore animals and because of busy work schedules I have been unable to get one of my own so far!

I have previously worked as a personal assistant whilst in medical school and part of that job involved looking after my service user's dogs- I.e feeding them, walking them etc. which I really enjoyed.

Many family and friends have pets that I enjoy spending time with, helping to look after and taking them on walks. I seem to have a natural bond with animals!

I'm open to pet walking, house sitting and having pets come to mine! I am open to looking after any kind of pet and I am flexible with working times.

Hello! I was brought up around pets living in a remote and rural area growing up. I then moved to the big city (Its really wonderful really and for pets!!) Since then, I have adopted 2 house cats (one Maine Coone and one Bengal so you can only image the riots that take place here!) They are both content and happy with their life here (i assume they are anyway as one cuddles into me typing this) (If only they could talk!). 
I initially enquired to this site to search for a catsitter every now and then for when I go away on holiday or overnights and I thought 'Why am i not signed up for this?'. 
I now would like to return the favour by offering my help and service if and when I can. Although I am primarily a cat owner, I am more than able and willing/available to dog walk for owners if needed as I love meeting new dogs and getting to know them. 
Furthermore, my dad is retired and is looking for a doggy friend to keep company in his spare time. Typically home every day, we can cater for doggy day care and overnights!
If you have any questions just ask away. No question is a silly question! 
I am cIty centre based, ideal for those who are working and/or away on holiday. I am also available to pop over to feed pets too. I can also complete other tasks for you while I am home visiting such as feeding plants &amp; taking in mail. This can be anything from a quick pop in to feed your pet, replenish water ect to playing with them for a wee while &amp; keep them company, brushing them ect, just ask!

I live near Bellahouston park with a secure back garden, dog beds, toys, towels, bowls &amp; treats.
I recommend bringing along their favourite toy, a jacket if they wear one, a blanket and their meals for the stay  
My family dachshunds are here often but not usually here when other animals are staying so I can offer solo stays or daycare. 
I like to keep routine the same for the pets I am looking after and provide a meet and greet with the owner &amp; pet to discuss everything your pet requires, dietary requirements &amp; general day to day habits.
For first time bookings (stays over 3+ days) I recommend a trial night or a few hours of daycare to help your pet get more used to me and the new surroundings  
Sociable dogs may join my group walks if they're a suitable fit.
Sits or daycare can be solo on request but please be sure to include in your message. 
Pick ups &amp; drops off can also be included if it's within a few miles from me  *this has to be prearranged 
I have been a professional dog walker/ sitter for over 10 years now and have lots of experience with different types of animals. 
Please include up to date emergency phone numbers and vet details within your profile 
 For overnight stays in someone's home- Please be clear which room I've to stay in, leave some space in the fridge, provide clean sheets and bedding and I'll make sure to strip the bedding before leaving, unless you state otherwise. Instructions for the heating, wifi and anything else that I wouldn't want to bother you with while you're on holiday!
