"Elena was absolutely amazing with Luna, our cockapoo! The whole experience was excellent. From the very first messages exchanged, Elena was very understanding and flexible in giving me options for dates she could have our dog. This is despite the fact I had to arrange a dog sitter at very short notice!
We met with our dogs at a park before the booking dates and Elena asked pertinent questions, so she could get to know Luna and make sure it was the right fit for everyone.
During Luna's stay, Elena kept me up-to-date, sending lovely pictures of their walks. It is very obvious to me that Luna had a great time... and so did Elena and her family, taking care of a dog that gets excited being around lovely people. :-)
I have no doubt that I'll reach out to Elena again if I need a dog sitter and will recommend her to everyone. Thanks again Elena!
PS: I even had a last minute need to extend Luna's stay for a day and once again, Elena was a star, responding quickly and accommodating the request."

"Hima is an absolutely amazing dog sitter, and I feel so lucky to have found her to take care of Milo. From the very beginning, she made me feel completely at ease with her calm, friendly demeanor and obvious love for animals. Milo can be a bit particular, but he warmed up to her right away, which instantly told me he was in good hands.
One of the things I appreciate most about Hima is how communicative she is. She sends loads of pictures throughout the day, which I absolutely love—it’s such a nice way to stay connected to Milo while I’m away. Whether he’s out on a walk, relaxing at home, or playing with toys, Hima always captures the moment and keeps me in the loop. It’s clear that she really gets how much pet parents value that kind of care and attention.
Beyond the updates, I’ve come to really trust Hima. She’s incredibly dependable, responsible, and always makes sure Milo’s routine is followed closely. I can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with him, and that means the world to me. Every time Milo stays with her, he comes back happy, well-exercised, and calm—which is exactly what I hope for.
If you’re looking for someone who is caring, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Hima. She’s been such a positive presence in Milo’s life, and I’ll definitely keep booking her!"

"Holly and her partner James were so great with my staffy Skye. From the get go Holly was really kind and quick with her replies. Their previous experience with dogs really helped. They understood Skye's needs and took care of all my requests. Someone was always there to take care of Skye and he got constant playtime and cuddles along with treats! They were very accommodating and understanding. She was very flexible with the timings as well. She gave regular updates which was also very reassuring. Skye had a great time and we would definitely book with Holly again! "

"Joanne was amazing; from communicating with her to arrange the initial intro meeting to her regular 'pupdates' whilst we were away, Joanne was very forthcoming. For the 10 days that Scout stayed with her, Joanne took her in as a member of her family; she took the time and patience to gently coax our slightly nervous dog until she was completely comfortable. It was like a home from home for Scout, in fact I think Scout is really missing Joanne since we got home! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joanne's dog boarding service and will be definitely asking Joanne if Scout can stay with her again."

"Tiya, our 12 year young Spaniel, loved her week’s stay with Charley, especially her large garden - very much enjoying being able to sunbathe and come & go as she wanted via the dog flap. Wonderful doggy walks were provided to different places, and lots of doggy sniffs (very important to a Spaniel!) including water and sand .. Virginia Water, Horsell Common, Heather Farm Wetlands to name a few.
Well done Charley; hope little Albert isn’t missing his new friend… she’ll be back soon as I’m booking again for next month

"I've had several good Pawshake experiences, but Emma was the best. Why? She was wonderfully tolerant as I changed my mind as to when I was coming. Then, arriving, I couldn't help but look at it from my dog's point of view: he arrived into a student household, where there were five friendly people, all excited by his arrival, and happy to throw him the ball. Emma is learning to be a vet, which manifested in her expert understanding. 'He has a slightly upset tummy,' I told her. Someone else might have said, 'You should have said this! I'm not sure I want him...' She stroked him, and said, 'Oh, sometimes that's a dog's response to worry... Don't worry. We'll take him straight out!' All this, and, for some crazy reason, Emma made herself the cheapest sitter in the area. She's so good, she'll be inundated by custom. You'll be lucky, your dog will be lucky, if the customer is you!"

"Leaving our little Yorkie(Leia) with Katie was a really good experience for our dog and for us! She suggested we meet before the dog boarding started and I got to meet her and her lovely little dog before hand. It gave me great confidence and I felt happy to leave Leia with her, Katie is lovely. She had Leia for almost 12 days and we had great communication from her and pictures/videos. We were nervous to leave her that long but when we picked her up she was happy. Thanks so so much Katie. 🙂"

"Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.
