"I couldn’t have asked for a better dogsitter! Leaving my puppy for the first time was nerve-wracking, but Barbara made the whole experience completely guilt-free. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in caring and capable hands. I got regular updates, photos, and videos of him playing, exploring, and getting plenty of cuddles—it honestly looked like he was on his own little holiday!
It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was not just being looked after, but truly cared for and enjoying himself. I came back to a happy, relaxed pup who had clearly had the time of his life. I’m so grateful and would absolutely book again without hesitation!"

"Flavia is an absolute gem! She looked after my dog, Snoopy, for four nights and did an amazing job. She kept in touch regularly with updates and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Flavia and her partner are very conscious about what they feed the dogs, carefully checking ingredients, and their knowledge about dogs is impressive.
Snoopy bonded wonderfully with their friendly dog, and it was clear he had a fantastic time. Flavia is caring, responsible, and truly passionate about what she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again—she’s a treasure on Pawshake! Highly recommend!"

"We left our 2yr old lab Bleu with Sheryl for 20 days. Sheryl put our minds at ease about leaving Bleu for the 1st time. It was obvious from day one that Sheryl and her entire family loved dogs. Her house is entirely set up to be dog friendly. We received daily video updates of Bleu. Bleu was not just looked after , he was loved. We were able to enjoy our holiday with peace of mind knowing Bleu was happy and having a great time. We would happily recommend Sheryl , she goes above and beyond for the pets left in her care."

"Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

"If you’re looking to leave your fur baby with someone trustworthy, caring and loving, then Jay is definitely the man for the job.
My usual dog sitter cancelled at the last minute before I went away for a couple of days. Luckily, Jay came to the rescue and agreed to take my dog in.
I was initially a bit worried, as my dog is very attached to me and isn’t very easy going around new people. However, when he was returned to me a couple of days later, Jay and I caught up - and my dog chose to sit next to him instead of mine side... And even cried when he left!
I’m not sure what kind of magic Jay is capable of, but it’s amazing. I received pictures every day of them having the lots of fun - my dog looked like he was having the time of his life. I have zero complaints and only the highest of praises.
Thank you so much Jay, for your flexibility and for being such an amazing dog sitter. I cannot recommend you more and Kobe is definitely very excited to stay with you again in the future."

"Our French bulldog had a great experience! He came back happy , looking good ! We received daily updates, photos and a few details about his day ! Even from the photos we could tell he was happy . Natalia’s family kindly allowed our dog on the sofa , so he felt really at home. There were two other dogs there which Natalia was really transparent about right away, and offered to meet before dog boarding started to see if it works for us ! I felt at ease , seeing that my dog is in good hands . Will most certainly be using Natalia’s help in future.

"Abhi was fantastic looking after my Papillon, who is very sensitive and needs special care as he is nervous with other dogs. She took him to the park everyday and was very vigilant around other dogs. Abhi has a way to put others at ease, very confident handling and great communicator towards people and other animals. "I can happily recommend Samantha 100%. She is a great dog carer and has real empathy with dogs. She sent me photos daily which was very reassuring. Lucca was relaxed and happy all the time, and did not seem phased having been living in a different house for a few days. He had two good walks every day and lots of ball throwing in the large garden. I will definitely book Lucca to stay with her again."
