Hi! My name is Mia and I’m 23 years old. I live in Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, in close proximity to Sherrardspark Wood, one of my go-to spots for relaxed, fun dog walks surrounded by nature! 

I studied animal care in college and I’ve been around animals my entire life. I previously worked at Pets at Home for over a year, so I’m very confident caring for pets day-to-day. I’ve also pet-sat for lots of friends and family, and have looked after many dogs and cats through BorrowMyDoggy. I’m a huge cat lover myself and grew up with them, so feline care is something I’m super comfortable with! 

I have two cats at my family home (not at my current address), so any pets I board will have my flat entirely to themselves. This makes it an especially calm environment for cats who prefer quiet, stress-free spaces. 

Services I offer:
1. Dog Walking
30–45 minutes tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether that’s a gentle stroll or an energetic walk. Plenty of exercise, fresh air, sniffing time, and bathroom breaks.

2. 1x Visit a Day
Up to 1 hour. Perfect for cats, dogs, rabbits, or small animals. Includes feeding, litter cleaning, fresh water, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and company.

3. 2x Visit a Day
Two visits, ideal for cats who need medication, kittens who need more attention, or dogs that get lonely during the day.

4. Doggy Day Care
Supervised care in my home: walks, playtime, and plenty of company.

5. Boarding (Cats &amp; Dogs)
Overnight care in a safe, comfortable environment. Cats get a peaceful, quiet space, enrichment, brushing (if they enjoy it), and all the cosy spots they like to explore. Dogs get walks, play, and plenty of affection.

Other pets (cats, rabbits, fish, small animals etc.) Happy to discuss needs and pricing separately.

I’m available seven days a week and happy to fit visits or walks around your schedule, just let me know what works best for you!

Your dog receives my full attention whilst in my care as I have no other pets and only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same household. I am privately insured and am accredited by the world's largest dog training canine institute. I have a distinction in a level 3 daycare and boarding OCN qualified course from a leading training provider. I am also first aid canine trained and certified and have also undertaken additional dog obedience courses. (Certificates can be provided on request.) All of which has enabled me to understand how dogs learn and how best to cater for their unique needs ensuring I provide them with the best care. All training kept up to date to remain current with standards and legislation.I have experienced of caring for a wide range of dog breeds such as German Shepherds, Border Collies, Labradors, Shiba Inu, Maltese, Cavapoos, Cockapoos, Spaniels, Terriers and loads more.&nbsp;
My home consists of my own garden with a 8ft brick wall fence. I live close to numerous parks, large open fielded spaces that are mostly private. These  are fantastic for nervous dogs or under socialised dogs. Some of which consist of lakes should your dog enjoy a swim. Brillant in all types of weather , all year round, as they are well maintained spaces. For your peace of mind and your dogs saftey I am privately insured with a leading pet insurance provider.&nbsp;
I can cater for all dogs, whether they're high energy or if they need extra rest or sleep for extended periods of time. Whilst I appreciate the former, I cater for the latter too.For dogs with a lot of energy, a typical day with me consists of a couple of long walks. Some mental stimulation, obedience training to reinforce what they know or teaching of tricks. For low energy dogs, I can stick to short walks, tummy rubs, cuddles, and massages. Daily videos and photos will be sent to you for the duration of their stay.&nbsp;


I was raised around cats and dogs, therefore I’ve acquired hands on experience since childhood. I particularly love cats and I enjoy getting to know each pet and finding out their own unique personality and preferences. I currently have a 2-year old British Shorthair that is very friendly and sociable. I love having other cats around so that she can play and socialise with them. I’m a lawyer working mostly from home, therefore I’m around all day and I have the flexibility to accept last minute bookings. My motivation to become a petsitter is to have the chance to get to know some more fur babies and to also give my cat Aysha the chance to socialise and play with other cats. I only accept a maximum of 2 bookings at the same time to ensure the pets are comfortable and able to adapt to the different circumstances. I have pet beds at home, however you fur babies are welcome to sleep on the couch, bed or wherever they feel comfortable! I am new to this platform and have only used it as a pet parent, therefore I don’t have any reviews yet, however as a lawyer I am registered and regulated by the SRA.
