My parents always used to say I should be a vet, but putting animals to sleep didn't seem right to me! So that's where I have decided this job is just perfect for me, which is why I have chosen to do this as a full-time job.

While I didn’t grow up with pets at home, I’ve been lucky to spend most of my life surrounded by animals—and caring for them has always come naturally. I started riding horses at age 7 and had shared ownership of horses from my mid-teens, which taught me the importance of responsibility, consistency, and attention to detail. From daily grooming and mucking out to feeding and monitoring health, I understand what it means to care for animals with structure and commitment.I’ve also spent years around cats and dogs. I looked after my brother’s two house cats while he was away for a fortnight, and I’ve regularly cared for friends' dogs for both short and extended visits. One of those dogs is a Tamaskan I’ve helped raise since she was a puppy—she’s now 8 years old—so I have long-term experience with large, active, and unique breeds.More recently, I’ve welcomed a puppy of my own into our new home. She’s a large dog, so I’m confident with crate training, enforcing boundaries, and maintaining consistency while still offering plenty of affection and engagement. I'm also comfortable administering oral medication when needed.I’ve lived in Nottingham for several years and now own a home in a rural area with access to large parks and fields just a short walk away, and beautiful countryside trails only a short drive away. I drive and also have access to public transport. We currently don’t allow pets on furniture, and I aim to keep a clean and calm environment at home. While I love spending time with animals, I prefer not to care for pets with severe separation anxiety, as I need flexibility to step out occasionally.Overall, I approach pet care with patience, structure, and love—and I’d be delighted to meet your furry companion!

Throughout my life I have always been around pets, I grew up with my white puddle Brandy, it was my 6th birthday gift, I learned so many responsibilities with him, such as feeding him, taking him for walks and being aware of anything he needed.&nbsp;

 What’s Included?

 Dog Walking: Walks typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs. I can take them on their usual route or explore a nearby park for some playtime and exercise.
 Home Visits: Each visit lasts 30–60 minutes, during which I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, play with them, and take care of any other needs. I can also water plants and bring in the mail if needed!
 Overnight Pet Sitting: If you need me to stay overnight, I’ll ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable, sticking to their routine as much as possible. I also take home security seriously, making sure doors are locked and the house is secure while you’re away.

🩺 Special Care

 If your dog needs oral medication, I can safely administer it.
 I can bathe and dry small dogs (up to 10kg) for £18 upon request. The cost will be discussed and added to the final price before booking.
