I genuinely love being around animals, and pet sitting has become a meaningful way to combine that passion with practical support for owners. I have experience caring for a wide range of pets, especially dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Over the years, I’ve helped friends and family with daily walks, drop-in visits and general care, as well as raising a few dogs of my own. This has helped me understand different routines and behaviours, from energetic pups who need structured play and shorter, more frequent walks, to older dogs who prefer a steady pace, plenty of reassurance and calm company.
On walks and check-ins, I always aim to create a safe, positive and personalised experience. I pay close attention to each dog’s confidence level—whether they’re social and curious, a little nervous, or somewhere in between. For example, I take time to let anxious dogs settle before setting off, use gradual exposure when passing busy areas, and keep high-energy dogs engaged with varied routes, enrichment and gentle training games. I’m also mindful of safety at all times, including secure lead handling, awareness of surroundings, and following any owner-provided instructions around feeding, medication or routines.
I take pride in caring for pets as if they were my own and in giving owners complete peace of mind. My goal is to offer a reliable, reassuring and friendly service that both you and your pet can genuinely look forward to—whether it’s a daily walk, a check-in visit or regular ongoing support.
