My love for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my teenage years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for a whole menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even chickens!I have a calm, loving, and confident presence, shaped by many years of working with children and people with disabilities. Animals—especially cats and dogs—seem to sense this and quickly feel safe, relaxed, and at ease around me.I’ve cared for animals of all ages, including those who were ill, anxious, or had experienced trauma, and I’ve always found these experiences deeply rewarding, gentle, and even joyful.With a nursing degree, I’m comfortable administering medication, providing basic wound care (following veterinary guidance), and preparing food for pets with special dietary needs.I also bring over 20 years of experience supporting vulnerable people, often in their own homes, so I naturally treat other people’s spaces with great care and respect. For the past 15 years, I’ve also been caring for animals in a semi-professional, word-of-mouth capacity.I also enjoy sharing lovely daily photo and video updates on request, so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away.
Every pet is unique, so everything I offer is shaped around their individual needs and daily routine. Plenty of TLC, walks, playtime, chill-out moments, and calm, reassuring time are always on the menu I always take the time to get to know my new animal friend — their likes and dislikes, diet, habits, and what helps them feel happy and safe. Our time together is 100% tailored to them. For some pets, that might mean lots of playful, active connection; for others, it’s all about a quiet, loving presence and gentle care. Hi! I’m currently living in Chepstow with my partner and our cat. I have two dogs at my family home, and I grew up with four dogs and eight cats, so I am prepared for pretty much anything and any behaviour! I would love to help you and the furry (or feathery, or even scaly!) members of your family, whether that’s playing, walking or just spending quality time with them!&nbsp;
I am happy to look after your pets both indoors and outdoors, including walks/runs, feeding and general entertainment. I can do up to two walks a day.
In addition, during home visits, I can feed, walk and let pets outside for fresh air. I would stay for as long as needed to ensure pets are not left alone for too long.
Of course, regular updates can be provided if you wish, as I know how stressful it can be to leave your animals for longer periods.

Hi my name is marina I have been pet sitting for several years and love looking after animals and there needs .I first started out by looking after three whippets,as my main business is house cleaning but my client needed someone to look after her dogs so I jumped at the chance and I loved it ,taking them on long walks and also I had to gave meds to one of them so have experience in all different aspects of pet sitting . For example one&nbsp; of the dogs cut there leg and I knew&nbsp; my client had some antiseptic&nbsp; spray so i administered the spray on leg. My preference is to come to your house and look after your pets as I have cat myself and couldn't have any animals at my house.i have sat for&nbsp; a couple of people&nbsp; now ,I can get refences if needed im a honest reliable ,caring&nbsp; person ,and&nbsp; i have relevant insurances&nbsp; so im looking forward to hearing from anyone who requires my services im happy to meet up and discuss any questions you have before .my services are looking after your pets in your home .I bring all my food, bedding to stay!I will care for pets to my very best&nbsp;

As an international adoptee, I moved around a lot in my childhood and always found comfort in animals when I couldn't always in people. I also experienced a range of cultures where standards for animal welfare vary hugely and throughout it all, pursued my passion for caring for them. As I begged for my own pet I often bonded with strays and researched how to care for them appropriately. And, when my family settled in the UK, I was able to adopt my beloved rescue cat. Alongside this, I nursed quite a few rodents like various mice and a hamster as I could only afford smaller pets. I also half grew up in the countryside as my family there owns a farm that nurtures a diverse spread of animals- so I've been accustomed to catering to a wide variety of needs and personalities from a young age. From horses to chickens, I took great pride in learning the ins and outs of each individual creature and tackling any challenge or temperament to give them the best experience- because it's the least they deserve. I think it's beautiful to bond with animals and build that trust, as well as helping to train or develop them as their own beings. My cat definitely has his own personality ! 
Because of my love for animals, I often bond with all my friend and family member's pets, so have quite a lot of experience with dogs despite not owning them. I'm definitely the type to almost remember the pet's name over the person's. Known as a little nerdy animal enthusiast from a young age, I've had a long-term goal to build my own rescue shelter in the future ! I truly adore working with animals so thought it would be more than worth it to apply for this :)
