Merryn grew up around horses, dogs and cats and has been an animal from a very young age. Having looked after many family and friends animals whilst on holidays over the years she wondered if there was a way to offer affordable dog care in our own home. 
With Sam working from home this means the animals have company all day long apart from the odd occasion for a couple of hours. Sam grew up around dogs his whole life with his family being successful greyhound trainers which means the house is just full of love for the animals. We want to make sure that everyone is happy, settled and calm when they are on holiday so we send updates throughout the duration of their stay to the owners. 
We like to have a meet and great before hand to check we are all a right for and maybe a trial stopover if you are looking for a long stay with us to make sure your fur baby settled okay before your big holiday. 
We can do house sits also but this has to be local to us and only occasionally can we allow for this. We can do doggy day care as well as drop ins.

As a devoted cat parent to my own playful kitten, Robin, caring for felines isn't just something I do but it's something I genuinely love. My journey into cat sitting began organically through my deep connection with these magnificent companions and their unique personalities. Each cat has their own distinctive character, preferences, and quirks, for example my little guy cannot stay still. Nonetheless I find tremendous joy in building trust with these independent yet affectionate animals.
My motivation for cat sitting stems from understanding the anxiety pet parents feel when leaving their furry family members behind. Having experienced this concern firsthand, I'm committed to providing the kind of attentive care that allows you to enjoy your time away without worry. I believe cats thrive best in environments where they feel secure and loved, and I strive to create that atmosphere whether in your home or mine.
With practical experience managing everything from medication schedules to litter box preferences, I'm comfortable handling the full spectrum of cat care needs. My own kitten has taught me patience, observation skills, and how to interpret those subtle feline communications that aren't always obvious to the casual observer.
I'm happy to welcome unvaccinated cats into my home, as I understand that every pet owner makes different healthcare choices for their companions. My space is cat-friendly with plenty of sunny windowsills, cozy hiding spots, and interactive toys to keep your feline friend stimulated and content during their stay.
My goal is to not only care for your cat whilst you're absent but to also build a relationship with them so that each visit is even more pleasant than the last

I maybe new to this app but I'm not new to dog/cat sitting and dog walking. 
have dog sat, walked and cared for people's small dogs and cats in peoples homes for a few years now. I dog sit UK nationwide and dog walk in parts of Derby/Leicester/Bearwood Birmingham and other part of the Midlands.
I used to have my own dog but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, hence me commencing pet sitting as I really miss being around animals and I will have a new little fur baby one day but until then I am enjoying sitting and walking a variety of little ones. 
Before a pet sit if its possible it would be great to meet you and your pets before the actual house sit, however this may not always be possible, so a zoom is always good too if possible. But I always like to ensure that I am a good fit for you and your pets and vice versa. My priority is that your pets have a happy vacation at home too, while you enjoy your break away. Or happy to walk your pets if you don't have the time during the day.
For any house sit, I'm happy to provide daily photos /videos via whatsapp or whatever you prefer to receive. Happy to do this for dog walking too.

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them 🤍

My childhood dog Tyson, was part of our family for an incredible 22 years! 

During Covid, we welcomed our shih-tzu Teddy into our home. He’s a very calm natured boy who loves nothing more than laying on the sofa and having belly tickles. He’s also very used to other dogs being around and loves to spend time with his best friend Max the Beagle  

Looking after Teddy has given me first hand experience in everything from daily walks, grooming, lots of belly rubs and sharing the occasional cheese sandwich with him

Over the years, I’ve looked after and have done pet sitting for a variety of dogs from energetic puppies to larger high energy dogs. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and my aim is to always love and care for your dog just like I would my own 

I have an enclosed garden with lots of grass for your dogs to play in. I will treat your own dogs like my own, with your guidance on what they love best. Every dog is different and I appreciate that they will all have unique needs which I’m happy to cater to

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, ever since I was a child. I grew up in a home where pets were part of the family, and I was fortunate to have a miniature poodle who became my best friend from 2008 until he sadly passed away in 2020. He taught me the joy, companionship, and responsibility that comes with caring for a pet.Over the past two years while living in Loughborough, I’ve had hands-on experience pet sitting and walking two lovely chihuahuas. I also regularly walked a friendly Bulldog, which helped me build even more confidence in handling different dog personalities and needs.I’m very comfortable with both dogs and cats and am more than happy to offer dog walking or pet sitting services at the owner’s home. At the moment, I’m not able to take pets into my own home, but I’m committed to providing attentive and loving care wherever I’m needed.
