I'm Rebecca, your experienced and friendly cat sitter offering a professional and bespoke service for you and your feline family member, giving you peace of mind while you are away. I am DBS checked and fully insured with Protectivity - happy to bring documents to meet and greet. Excellent references are available. I am open for bookings year round with high availability during school holidays and bank holidays. I can offer up to two drop-ins a day of 30-40 minutes in duration throughout the day until 6:30 pm. I am happy to take care of feeding, cleaning litter trays, providing play and cuddles (for those who like that!) alongside putting out bins, collecting post and watering house plants (outside pots in warmer months). Serving Amersham, Chesham Bois, Waterside Chesham and Chesham Old Town residences ONLY.

I have volunteered for the animal charity The Cinnamon Trust for over 12 years where I walk dogs and cat sit for elderly/disabled people unable to fulfil pet care responsibilities.

In recent years until late 2021, I held both paid & volunteer roles as a live-in caretaker, gardener and cook in retreat centres in UK/France where I helped look after the resident cats too. From Gail at Moulin de Chaves retreat centre: 'Rebecca stayed with us as a volunteer at our retreat centre in SW France from September to November 2019. She was a steady and reliable person, and we felt happy to have our centre and our cat, looked after by her.' I absolutely loved taking care of cats so decided to extend my love of animals (and people!) to a pet-sitting service. 

I have a daily meditation, Tai Chi and yoga habit. Animals seem to pick up on this calm and positive energy that I bring with me, resulting in relaxed cats. 

I am happy to provide excellent references from other cat sittings I have carried out on other pet sitting platforms. I have studied animal courses online including nutrition, first aid and animal behaviour/psychology and continue to add to my knowledge regularly.

I offer two free meet and greets; the first in a public place or on a Zoom call, and if both sides are happy, a second meet and greet in your home to discuss further details of routine and to meet your cat! This is to provide extra security for both sides and to ensure I am the best fit for you. Please note I only accept fully vaccinated cats that are up to date with flea/worming treatments, in reasonably good health and registered with local vets—also relatively friendly cats only (no aggression). Quirks are happily accepted!

In the highly unlikely event that your cat should need to go to the vet as an emergency, there is a £25 fee for first hour plus taxi fare and £20 per hour thereafter. Happy to liase with your local family/friends to stay with your cat. Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Easter Sunday are £28 per 30 min drop in.
