I am an experienced dog boarder, retired teacher, qualified Dog First Aider with CPR, outdoor activity instructor and volunteer Mendip Ranger. My black labrador, Inga, partner Gilly and I welcome any dog who needs a warm, caring fun filled holiday home. We spend time twice daily on the nearby Mendip Hills or Uphill beach so safety is assured in these environments. We also have a local river and park bad weather alternatives. My partner and I have cared for dogs for over 10 years. We liaise with the owner to ensure the dog's routines and likes are continued for their stay. The activities of the day are recorded and forwarded to the owner each evening. This provides a record of the activities participated in on the day and reassurance that the dog is enjoying their experiences. We live in a three bedroom open plan bungalow with a secure garden so the dogs are with us constantly and have free run of the whole house and garden at all times. We only accept one client with a maximum of two dogs to ensure they have our full attention. We can administer oral medication to your specific instructions. We can receive your dog at our home anytime from 10am or can arrange collection for those in 30 minute radius of Banwell. We invite new owners to meet up for a dog walk in advance and/or 1 night sleep over if that helps to reassure our canine visitor and owner.
