Hello! My name is Penny and, along with my partner Charles, we adore dogs. Having recently lost our Border Terrier, Oscar, last month, it would be wonderful to hear four paws pitter patting around the kitchen! Our home has a lovely walled garden. It is perfect for a mooch around, some ball catching and lots of places to find some shade - we can even provide a paddling pool. Our kitchen has wonderfully cool flagstones too, and in Winter we have an open fire in the sitting room. There are rugs to curl up on, comfy beds with plenty of blankets and lots and lots of cuddles.

There are a variety of lengths of walks - from right outside our front door. Open fields, a stream and quiet too, so plenty of exploring to be done. Charles and I walk every day - and it would be so wonderful to have a dog to accompany us again! We normally walk for up to an hour - and sometimes more. We are happy to offer two walks a day if that is what your dog needs. We are able to board two dogs at a time. We have two medium beds and blankets but would, of course, be happy to use their own beds if you would prefer that.  

Our wonderful Oscar, suffered from diabetes in the last year of his life - so if your dog needs injecting, we are happy to be able to provide such a service.  

Charles and I are both at home during the day, and during the evenings. I have looked after dogs at a holiday home and used to walk my guests dogs and pop in to see them when the guests were out for a day trip. I always sent photos to them to let them see how much fun their dog was having!  

Our home is now dog and cat free (sadly) and our girls have flown the nest - so let us look after your dog - a loving home from home.
