I’ve always had animals in the house, and firmly believe that a dog makes a house a home! I work full time as an ecologist, so my life is surrounded by all kinds of animals, from bats to birds to slow worms 🐶🦊🐸🐦⬛🦋 My parents’ dogs are my babies, and my partner and I are hoping to get our own dog soon. In the meantime, I’d love to help other owners care for their babies ☺️

🐾About My Services🐾

• Dog boarding and dog daycare Your dog will live in our home as part of the family.
• Dog walking We can walk your dog 1 to 2 times per day, usually 30 to 60 minutes per walk depending on their needs and energy levels.
• Medication I am comfortable administering oral medication if needed. Please provide instructions.
• Behaviour needs I’m experienced caring for rescue dogs and dogs with quirks or anxieties. This doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t help, but please share details in advance so we can plan appropriately.
• Training and grooming I do not offer formal training or grooming services. I am happy to maintain your existing routines, use your commands, and brush your dog if provided.
• How many dogs at once To ensure quality care, I only board maximum two dogs at a time (usually one). We can discuss caring for multiple dogs if from the same household.

🕒Time and Routine🕒

Myself and my partner both work full time, but have flexibility to work from home, meaning your dog will never be left alone for long periods.

• Boarding stays Pets will never be left alone longer than 1 hours at any one time (usually not left at all)
• Daycare Pets will not be left alone during daycare
• We plan our day around the dog in our care, including regular walks, playtime and quiet relaxation.
• We love cuddles if they’re keen and will give them lots of attention.

🏡Our Home🏡

• Myself and my partner live in a spacious house with plenty of room for dogs to relax.
• ❗️We have a rescue cat, so dogs must be comfortable being around cats❗️
• Guest dogs are typically kept downstairs during the nighttime to give them their own quiet space to settle in a new environment.If your dog would struggle with this or prefers sleeping upstairs, please let us know. We are happy to accommodate your dog’s routine.
• We have a large garden. One side of the boundary is currently unfenced. This hasn’t been a problem in the past, as we always use a lead for toilet breaks for safety.
• Dogs are welcome on furniture unless you prefer otherwise.

🌅A Typical Day🌅

Lots of walks, cuddles, enrichment and play. We love exploring local green spaces and adjusting activity levels to suit your dog’s needs, whether that's long walks and playtimes or cuddles and napping on the sofa!

Please tell us if your dog has:

• Specific routines, preferences or comfort needs
• Behaviour issues, reactivity or separation anxiety
• Any dietary restrictions or medications
• Particular triggers, fears or boundaries

None of this necessarily means we cannot help. It simply allows us to prepare and ensure a safe, comfortable stay for your dog.
