I work as a freelance HR Consultant working remotely for the majority of my clients. I live in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with an enclosed garden. My travel schedule means that I don't have the opportunity to have my own pets, although I would love to someday, so housesitting and petsitting have been a great way to be connected to some wonderful animals. I have been a TrustedHousesitter for over 5 years now and have looked after pets and homes from the USA to Australia, and everywhere in between!
Being in the house for the majority of the time when I'm here means I have a good amount of time to look after pets and they will not be left for longer than 3 hours. Pets will sleep downstairs in the kitchen. I cannot supervise 24 / 7 so my home would not be suitable for pets with severe separation anxiety and they must be able to be by themselves without barking for prolonged periods of time as this will cause a disturbance to my neighbours.
My house has a good sized enclosed garden with a locked secure gate. Through the gate there is access to a wonderful park perfect for a game of chase or to begin a walk along the river. I stay connected with pet owners through WhatsApp and send updates and selfies throughout the day so that you can see your pet is well and having fun!
If boarding in my home, I am happy to administer non injectable medication to pets.
Walks are 30 - 45 minutes long and are typically on either side of the day along with some play sessions in the garden during the day. I have space in the fridge and freezer for their food if required. Please bring enough food for the full stay including treats. Please also let me know if there is any food that they cannot eat.
When boarding please bring your dogs bed, food, treats, food bowl, coat, lead and harness (if using) and toys. The boarding rate is per 24 hours from drop off to collection. If additional time is required please book the day rate in addition to the boarding rate.
Please note I use a few different apps for pet and housesitting therefore dates will always need to be checked even if showing as free on my calendar. I will respond to every message - please do get in touch to enquire.
