About Amy
Available between 8:30am and 6pm to visit and look after your pet! (exceptions can be made so always worth asking). My visits or dog walks are between 30minutes and an hour depending on what your pet wants/needs.
I am a 35 year old stay at home mum to two young kids. They often join me on my home visits which I think teaches them a lot about caring for animals. They are both respectful individuals who are great with all animals.
I have always been a busy, hardworking individual and am finding myself needing to do more with my time. I would love to combine looking after my daughters with helping out local people with their pets. I have been doing this for the past six years and have now made it an official business (Amy's pet sitting in Bath)!
Most of my furry clients are cats, so I have lots of experience with them and their varying needs.
I also have a lot of small/medium dogs who I walk and visit regularly. I alter my walks to suit each dogs needs, whether it be a quick nip to the local park,a hike in the countryside or just a run around the garden chasing a toy.
I love all animals but am a bit wary of my daughters being around big dogs at the moment, so I am afraid I can't offer any walks etc to larger breeds.
I also have lots of experience with hens and fowl as well as other birds (parrots, quail etc) and also small pets such as hamsters. I have enjoyed looking after reptiles and amphibians for long periods of time, including soft shell turtles, snakes and bearded dragons. My regular animal clients include many cats and small/medium sized dogs, degus, hamsters, gerbils, chickens and fish as well as a cheeky cockatoo. I'd love to look after your pet too!
I am also a keen gardener and vegetable grower so can help with plant sitting as well.
Pop me a message to see if I can help, I look forward to hearing from you.
