Hi - my name is Demelza.

I'm a life-long animal lover, qualified zoologist and registered pet sitter who loves all pets big and small!

Taking care of animals is my passion in life.

I have been working full time as a pet sitter for the past 5 years and couldn't be happier in my dream job.

As an experienced and reliable sitter you can trust me to provide the best care for your fur baby, whether you're looking for a sitter, walker, help with training your pup or someone to give them their medicine or a bath and brush up!

I work hard to build bonds with my furry clients and earn their trust, putting them at ease. Every pet is an individual, and I will get to know your pet’s personality, likes and dislikes and daily routine.

I am experienced with a wide variety of breeds and sizes, elderly dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, rescue pets and those with special needs and medical requirements - including insulin injections.

Your pet's happiness and comfort is my priority - expect lots of fun, playtime and walks for your dog, company and interaction for your cat and of course cuddles, treats and lots of love!

I promise to keep you updated with all your pet’s fun and antics through the Pawshake App and WhatsApp so that you can rest assured that your pet is enjoying their time with me.

For your dog's exercise needs, I offer both private solo dog walks - ideal for puppies, elderly dogs and those who prefer their own company or if you'd like your pup to make new doggy friends I offer small pack walks to the park (up to 4 dogs at a time).

Walks are tailored for your dog's activity level and can be fully tracked on request with lots of photos for peace of mind. I love walking dogs and am always looking for new furry friends to spend time with!

I have lots of specialist skills under my belt and I would be happy to help with reward-based training, socialisation, basic commands and recall, leash training, administering medications including injections, nail clipping, bathing and basic grooming.

Pet safety is also very important to me, I recently completed a pet theft prevention course and am a member of the doghorn dog theft prevention campaign. I carry a doghorn whistle, personal alarm and dog whistle at all times and take all steps to ensure your dogs safety while in my care.

My qualifications: Zoology Bsc, Animal Training and Pet Sitting Certificate, Dog Walking Certificate, Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3, Canine First Aid Certificate, Dog Behaviour & Psychology, Puppy Training Certificate, Pet Theft Prevention Trained, Police Checked, fully insured by SimplyBusiness and Pawshake.
