I am 31 and am taking a small career break. I am an experienced pet sitter with over 10 years experience, as well as an experienced house sitter. I am looking for something that I love, to bring in a bit of extra money while I spend some time focusssing on my artistic endeavours. I had a great time working for Pawshake when I first relocated to London six years ago, and am super keen to get back to using it regularly.
Animals have always played a huge role in my life; growing up in the country side, becoming comfortable around large livestock, living with a menagerie of pets from an early age and then going on to have my own fur babies in my home.
Before I started uni, I was a trained childcare practitioner, acting as the Baby Room lead, Pre School manager and SENCo, and so caring for others is what I love to do! This also means that aswell as being used to accommodating routines, I am not tied down to any work commitments at the moment, I have all the time in the world to give your pets the TLC they deserve!
I have lots of previous experience pet sitting, being the first port of call for my friends and family when they go away, aswell as over 10 years experience as a paid sitter. This has given me a wide range of experiences within the field, including administering medication to poorly pets.
Over the years I have dealt with a wide range of 'presents' that our little rascals like to leave for us, and so am not squeamish about cleaning anything up. Having been a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is that you feel completely confident in the person that you're leaving responsible for your loved ones, and I will do everything to ensure that not only are your pets well looked after, but they get all the love, snuggles and attention that they are used to.
Having cared for and owned a range of different animals, from cats and dogs to rodents and reptiles, there is no critter too big or too small, too spikey or too slimey, that I wouldn't be confident in giving my undivided love, attention and care to.

Amber was absolutely brilliant! She took such great care of our cat and kittens. She was thorough in the way she cared for them taking care of all their needs, their health, and keeping up with all the playing that the kittens needed. She communicated with us enough that we knew everything was going well. On top of that, she took great care of the flat. We would gladly have her back any time.
Amber was amazing and we felt very comfortable leaving our elderly pug, Louis with her. Louis is very old and so is a little trying to look after but Amber gave us regular updates and was never afraid to ask questions so we always knew Louis was safe and in good hands.
We couldn't recommend Amber more highly.
