Sian&Lauren

Sian and Lauren are a couple who love animals. We both grew up with cats as children and teenagers and have recently started dog walking, housesitting with dogs and cat boarding. Our favourite thing to do with pets on our jobs is to play ball with a ball thrower with puppies and dogs. We've also recently discovered using a projector to project onto the floor images of film swimming around is very fun for cats to try to pounce on! We're happy to housesit with any kind of animal as long as we have a thorough handover to make sure both us and the pet is properly cared for! We would typically work as a couple although for dog walks or for visits (either once or twice daily) it may be that only one of us attends. We're currently staying with a 18 month old long-haired labradoodle called Reggie whose favourite food is carrots (we've been giving him ice cold ones to help him cope with the heat!) and he is completely obsessed with balls! 

We are flexible with times for walks and visits during the weekdays, we can work around our schedules and yours to make sure it works for everyone (including the pets!) We would offer visits for feeding and playing at their homes (once or twice daily) for pets, and we can do things like water the plants and bring in the post, or anything similar, while we're there. We would likely stay for maximum of an hour, but again we can be flexible with this. We also offer walking for dogs any time of the time, again we'd be flexible with the times and we could do twice daily as a maximum for the same dog. We would offer walks for a maximum of 90 minutes, but again we could be flexible! If we are properly briefed we would be able to administer medication to pets as and when needed. We can house sit for any period of time, and are happy to 'live' there while the owners are away for security and to settle the pet(s) properly. We would ensure to properly lock and secure the house whenever we were out in the daytime and at night, and would be happy to do things like water the plants, bring in the post and generally keep the house clean and tiny while we're there, as well as the usual routines for the pets - walks, playing, feeding and anything else.

We're looking to short-term foster a cat and her kittens from our local rescue centre during the kitten season this year while they wait to be properly adopted - this is why we're not currently offering stays of cats or dogs at our home - only in pets own homes.
