Lucia

Hi! My name is Lucia and I've just moved to London on my gap year from New Zealand. I have always loved and had a passion for all animals, and have volunteered at a marine centre and the RSPCA (in the veterinary care unit) in the last few years. I've had dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, mice, fish, even snails and slugs while growing up and have always made looking after them my top priority. One of my dogs is temperamental and reactive so I have lots of experience in reactive dog training techniques to make sure she's comfortable all the time. I aspire to have a full time job working with animals in the future such as vet nursing or a job in conservation. 

During my time at the RSPCA I cleaned many cages and fed dogs, cats and other small animals. I helped veterinarians administer oral medicine and helped treat wounds and injuries, and would help move animals who weren't mobile. I have also handled and cared for animals coming from unfortunate situations such as temperamental strays and pets arriving from highly overcrowded houses. 

I have experience cat sitting and dog sitting and I've had years of experience walking and looking after my own dogs (who I am missing very much). Unfortunately I can't keep any pets in my current house but I'm happy to commute an hour or so from my place in Catford, London to pet sit anywhere from an hour to several days. I'm happy to walk dogs, pop in and feed any animals etc. I would be more than happy to discuss any services not including boarding in my own house. 

I would love to pet sit for you because I am very confident taking care of all sorts of animals and keeping pets happy brings me so much joy!
