About Dominic
I am an enthusiastic House Sitter. I have grown up owning and looking after various pets, mainly dogs, big and small (two labradors, one West Highland white terrier, one miniture poodle). I have also owned two cats, two budgies, fish, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese. So I am well aware of how much care and attention your pets need! I am happy to make home sits across a wide range in the West Midlands, but the areas I know best are in Sutton Coldfield and Edgbaston and anywhere in between! You can get pictures of your pets and updates of your home during the sit, if you wish. I can walk your dogs in the area and can handle any size of dog. I will work out a 30-45 minute route starting from your home and do my best to improve your dog's walking etiquette. I am very flexible with house sitting to work around you. Whether you are away for one night or 10 I can help with all pets and give you the peace of mind you need for your home and your animal friends. I can give daily picture updates and fit my day around your pets routines whether that be early morning walks, particular meal times or regular treats. We were very happy with the service that Dominic provided - communication was excellent . Milly was comfortable with him ( she can be rather anxious but obviously recognised a competent carer) and we were able to enjoy our son’s wedding with no concerns about her well-being. We would be very happy to use Dominic again in the future.
It was a big ask for us to leave our new rescue pup and old boy with Dominic overnight, but Dominic is a dog whisperer! They both seemed to love him and settled well in his care. He’s caring and considerate and a super clean house guest! We had regular pupdates and a good handover of information when we came home. He knows how much dogs are part of the family!
