I grew up around pets and quickly learned that good care is not just about feeding and walking, but about patience, attention, and creating a calm, safe environment where they feel secure. Becoming a pet sitter feels like a natural extension of that mindset. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and find it rewarding to help them feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

My motivation comes from understanding how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I want owners to feel confident that their pets are treated with the same care and respect I would give my own. I am reliable, organised, and attentive to routines. In a typical day, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Mornings might start with a walk, fresh water, breakfast, and some playtime to burn energy. During the day, I build in enrichment like short training games, gentle brushing, or puzzle toys. Evenings are usually calmer with another walk, dinner, and quiet companionship so they can settle comfortably. I keep spaces clean and stick to feeding and medication schedules carefully.

I have previous experience caring for dogs and cats for friends, neighbours, and family, including daily walks and feeding. I am comfortable with different temperaments and energy levels, from playful puppies to calmer pets who need a gentler pace. Energetic dogs get longer walks and active play, while shy or anxious pets get patience and a slower approach so they can warm up at their own pace.

What I bring that is unique is consistency and attentiveness. I am organised, calm, and observant, so I quickly notice changes in behaviour or appetite. I also genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, not just “checking in” on them.

For everyone’s safety and wellbeing, I only work with vaccinated pets. Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are always priorities. Above all, I aim to provide consistent, loving care so your pet feels happy, relaxed, and at home even when you are away.
