Hello! My name is Denise and I love animals, full stop! While studying in Bruges, I dog-walked, dog-sat, and cat-sat. I am looking to continue this in Milton Keynes, my hometown, on weekends/when time permits only and only within the Bletchley area. 

Before leaving for studies, I volunteered at an animal rescue where I have looked after farm animals such as pigs, goats and sheep and I am always so fascinated by how intelligent and caring these animals are. Moreover, I have handled and looked after small animals, particularly rabbits but also guinea pigs, feeding and giving them water, as well as cleaning out their pens and playing with them. At the cattery, I enjoy playing with the cats and have learnt how to handle cats; I have also looked after my own pet kitten a few years back and pet fish for three years, however, I currently do not have any pets at home.

Dog walking is fantastic, I always take the opportunity to go on walks or hikes with friends and their dogs because I find it enjoyable and a great form of exercise. At the shelter, I also walk dogs and sometimes run with them because I enjoy running as a form of exercise. I have been taught to do this with a lead and can walk your dog with a leash. I use these walks (often 45 minutes, with the possibility for walks twice a day) sometimes as an opportunity to reinforce basic training regarding the dogs at the shelter, but I respect any requests of the owners. Furthermore, I enjoy playing with animals and, so, though I have no pets of my own at home at the moment, I have so much love to give. Should you like for me to take your dog on a walk I hope to ensure that sufficient exercise is had based on the specific needs of your pooch. I am open to learning commands you have taught your pets for basic training should you wish for me to do so.
