About Tilly
Hi I'm Tilly and I'm looking for a little side hustle to earn some extra money and get those extra animal cuddles in!
I am available most mornings and evenings (I work between 8am-7pm Monday-Thursday) but am also available Friday-Sunday all day.
I work at a vets as an animal nursing assistant and have a Bsc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I have worked at the vets for 3 years now so am comfortable around dogs/cats of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. It also means that I know a lot about medication if your pet needs it administered, and also I am aware of a lot of signs/symptoms of illness and how to act accordingly. I have also previously worked as a detection dog handler so have a lot of dog experience.
I have a huge interest in animal behaviour, hence the degree, so am also happy and confidant to help and follow along with training plans if your pet is already seeing a behaviourist/trainer. (Please note I am not a certified dog trainer/behaviourist so am only willing to follow along with current training plans.)
I am a reliable and trustworthy person with a lot of experience with animals including personal and professional. I am also fairly flexible so happy to arrange a meet and greet to discuss specific requirements!
I like to stay fit so am happy to do long walks if your dog requires. Standard walks will be 45 mins - 1hr unless requested otherwise. Walks can be around residential areas or any surrounding field areas depending on your dogs preference.
I am happy with basic grooming e.g brushing, washing, nail trims on request.
Home visits available for feeding, administering meds, letting dogs out for a wee etc - will usually be around 20 mins unless requested otherwise.
I am happy to do overnight stays in your own home so that your pet is comfortable in familiar surroundings whether it just be for 1 night or a few nights whilst you're on holiday.
I can tablet both cats and dogs and administer injectables eg insulin (I am only willing to do so if pet is relatively tolerant of receiving medication.)
