When I was growing up, my family always had lots of animals, including dogs, cats, budgies, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish. I've owned many cats and dogs, all of them rescue animals. I would enjoy spending time caring for and giving love to your pets when you aren't able to.
I have over twenty years' experience of looking after pets. I have been entrusted with friends' horses and donkeys whilst they've been on holiday.
I'm a keen walker and would love to take your dog along with me for mutual company and exercise!
I always take the time to get to know you and your pet to ensure that I give them the care and love they have come to expect from you.
**Please note that I can no longer offer a home boarding service for dogs. However, I would be happy to provide a house sitting service instead, where I stay and look after your dog or cat in his or her own home**
**NEW - I also now offer a domestic cleaning service - I will clean your home whilst I am looking after your pets, or as a separate service. I offer regular cleaning, or spring cleaning while you are away, plus restocking your fridge for your return - please message me for details about this extra service**

Karen is always such a pleasure to deal with, she is organised, honest and reliable. She has been an amazing asset to me and to my dog Wellington, I can't imagine life without Karen in it, Wellington is always so pleased to see her. I know that if I leave Wellington with Karen then he is safe, happy and contented, I, on the other hand, miss him terribly, he of course with Karen, doesn't even notice that I am gone!
If you are cautious about signing up to Pawshake or are unsure you can trust someone you "don't know" to look after your pet the same way you would, then I would say "I was you", I am not sure about all the other pet sitters on here, I can only tell you how Karen is and I have to say she has been a "God Send" so pick carefully, look at the reviews, and then go for it!
