About Madi
Hello! My name is Madi and I am a crazy cat lady and animal lover, based in South Reddish. Having been searching for someone to look after my two kittens whilst I go away, I came across Pawshake and thought that it sounded like a bit of me.
Growing up in Australia we had a farm so I have grown up around animals my whole life. I've had all kinds of pets; rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, frogs as well as looking after lambs who's mothers abandoned them. I absolutely love all animals and couldn't imagine a life without them.
I also was a volunteer foster carer for the RSPCA for 5 years, where I would take in up to 6 kittens at a time who were between 2-10 weeks old and raise them until they were big enough to be adopted out to
their forever home. I learnt a lot on how to care for young animals and be patient when things might get tough.
I now have my own 2 fur babies, Leo and Frankie who my partner and I adopted earlier this year. They are both still kittens and a lot of work but finally being able to call them my own is the best feeling. I know just how important pets are to their families so I would treat your babies, just as I would care for mine.
I am a hybrid worker so I can be flexible with my schedule to fit around your pets needs.

Really pleased with the service and care that Madi provided for Finlay during our weeks break.
Madi got us out of a spot at very short notice by fitting us in with her busy schedule as we were unable to use our regular sitter who is a family member due to transportation problems.
Madi responded very promptly to our initial enquiry and communication and a home visit was quickly arranged so that we could all get to know one another and understand Finlay’s needs.
During the week we were away Madi was in daily contact with us and sent us photos and videos of Finlay enjoying his time away from us with his new friend, receiving lots of loving attention.
We are delighted with the service that Madi provided. It is very clear that she has a very genuine interest and caring approach to all animals.
We wouldn’t hesitate in using Madi when we next go away and would highly recommend her services to those requiring a professional and caring sitter.

Madi is an incredible pet sitter! She looked after our 1YO cat Beau whilst we went on holiday. This was the first time we have ever left her with non family members but Madi was superb. Super conscientious, friendly and professional Madi was a pleasure to communicate with ahead of the trip. She asked all the right questions and was responsive and kind throughout. When it came to looking after Beau she was fantastic, so caring and spent a great amount of time playing with her. She sent daily updates which we really appreciated, alongside videos and pics. I could tell Beau was super comfortable with her! I would highly recommend Madi as a pet sitter we are so grateful for how well she cared for Beau and will definitely be booking with her again! Xx
