Thanks for reading my profile. Both my partner Min and I love dogs, and I have also cared for other pets including cats, tortoises, parrots, budgies, canaries, mynahs, hamsters, snails, goldfishes, chameleons, and koi/carp.

A lifetime of experience: My lifelong (c 50 years) experience with dogs gives me “dog intuition and dog empathy” - I believe your best friend deserves a sitter who is attuned to their needs, able to read them, and give them what they need - sometimes this is a reassuring belly scratch; other times they just want space and mutual respect.

Chemistry check: This is a trusted role. You need the right sitter for your beloved dog and in yr home. Before accepting any job I will invest in an initial F2F meeting to discuss yr dog's and yr requirements, and meet your dog to ensure you are happy to entrust us with your best friend. 🐶🐶🐶

Dog-centric from childhood: I grew up with dogs, including four of my own dogs, as well as helping out my police officer neighbour who had up to six dogs at a time, plus helping multiple extended family members and friends with their dogs. My earliest dog memory is cuddling up with Bobo when we were both aged ~2.5 years (we were apparently born in the same month and year). Bobo was my (police inspector) neighbour’s personal protection German Shepherd and she took me under her wing as while I was a still a toddler and much smaller than her.

Varied dog backgrounds: My experience handling dogs includes police dogs, rescue dogs, purebred, mix breeds, elderly dogs (oldest was c.18 years). Please let us know if you have special requirements eg elderly pets, puppy/young dogs, training reinforcement, medical considerations, running for athletic dogs etc. Where a supplement is applicable we will agree these with you in advance.

Varied dog personalities: My dogs have had varied personalities from very fussy about food and slightly aloof … to eats everything and loves belly scratches (any scratches!!) ... to nervous and cautious due to previous experience (she was a rescue dog) ... to dogs who love rolling around with zero regard for dignity 😂

Medical fundamentals: My uncle was a vet who taught me basics of dog care including oral administration of vitamin capsules and pills, plus fundamentals of grooming. I've used this knowledge to support my own dogs (one lived to c18 years).

Local sitter: My partner Min loves dogs equally (as you have seen from the photos) and we tag-team to help out our neighbours with dog walking or drop-in house visits. We are both based at home in Northfields W13 and have good flexibility most days. For further distances, we can use the car/public transport and we will agree with you a fair supplement for additional travel time and costs.
