I study Animal Management at Dudley College and I've volunteered for the past year in "Wild" Zoological Gardens and "The Animal Man" in Smestow. I absolutely love all kinds of animals! I've also often looked after friends' & family pets (dogs, cats, chickens, terrariums & aquariums). I've taken care of all sorts of animals commonly owned as well as ones you'd see at a Zoo, from cats and rodents to llamas and lemurs and everything in-between - dogs being my favourite. I'm looking forward to studying a course based on animals and biology in higher education or to enroll in a full time practical course. Unfortunately for this reason along with pet restrictions in my current house, I'm unable to take in a pup for myself - which is why I hope to pour all of my enthusiasm and care onto yours!
I've got ample experience in handling all types of animals, feeding/watering, grooming and cleaning them and after them regularly. I take my duties very seriously and respect the animal i'm looking after as if it were my own. As I am free for holidays and otherwise my timetable is very flexible, I'll be able to walk and house sit practically any time of the day, any day. I can stay for as long as needed and also overnight, even several days. I can keep your pet at my home for some time during the day but sadly not overnight. I'll make sure to keep you posted and up to date on how your furry (or scaly) one is doing with pictures every step of the way!
I love exercise and long walks and I love it even more with a dog, so if you've got a restless pooch I'll tire them out for you! If you've got any outdoor toys your dog specifically likes I'll make good use of them. I'm an avid cyclist and runner, and if I have your consent I'll introduce your dog to some regular exercise - provided it is of an athletic breed. I live right next to the Stourbridge canal and close to a few parks, in particular an enormous grass field perfect for dogs (as seen in the pictures). I am also flexible when it comes to arranging meetings for pick ups or drop offs.
I've got limited experience when it comes to dog training, however this is a topic of extreme personal interest and I've done countless hours of research along with my studies and I'd love to put it to use. On the subject of studies, I've learned a great deal about animal care, behaviour and health during my course and gained experience in work placement both of which together gave me a lot of confidence in both theory and practice.
I'm more than happy to arrange a meeting with you and your pet to see how well we get along!

Booking made at short notice. Great communication. Bailey was taken out for a good hour. Thanks, again.
Renat spent an hour with Bailey and I before the booking. He was affectionate and confident with the dog. During his stay at my house, while I’ve been on holiday, communication has been excellent - text messages and photos. The house has been vacuumed and kitchen cleaned too. Bailey was left in safe hands. I will definitely use Renat again soon. Many thanks.
