hi, my name is katie!

i have worked in kennels for coming up to two years, but was volunteering with animals before that.

i have owned a range of animals in my lifetime which includes, but definitely not limited to, 4 dogs.

i have never personally owned cats (i wish i could!) however the kennels i worked in for a year has a cattery, so i'm not short of experience. 

this kennel/cattery also had a range of rescue dogs. we had 9 in total. most of which were GSD crosses. because of their backgrounds, they weren't the easiest to befriend (as you can probably imagine!). but with a lot of time and patience (and even more treats!) i soon became their best friends! (the feeling was mutual)

working in a kennels means i have experience with all kinds of dogs! big or small, old or young, hyper or couch potato, nothing is too much

in the past few months i have become qualified in dog first aid, in addition to taking a reactive dog course
