Hi there! I'm Kat, and I'm excited to offer house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking services! 🐾

I've been a proud pet parent growing up with 8 cats, one wonderful dog, and even a couple of tortoises over the years. Unfortunately, due to my partner’s allergies, I can’t have any pets at home right now. However, this situation has inspired me to become a pet sitter, allowing me to provide a loving and caring environment for your furry friends!

As a former cat owner, I understand their unique needs, behaviors, and personalities. Whether it's playtime, grooming, or just providing a lap for snuggles, I'm dedicated to giving each cat the attention and love they deserve in their own space. I've been on Pawshake for nearly a year now and have had the pleasure of looking after several cats (and rabbits!) as well as caring for many pets belonging to different people around my town I grew up in as a teenager. I am fully comfortable with the responsibilities that come with pet sitting!

During my visits, I prioritise spending quality time with your pets. For overnight stays, you can rely on me to create a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining their routine. I’m more than happy to cuddle with your cats and dogs, keep the house clean and secure, keep any plants alive and ensure your pets enjoy their normal routine and surroundings during my stay.

Every pet has its own quirks, and I'm here to tailor my care to what works best for them. You can rest easy knowing that your beloved companions are in good hands! I’ve successfully handled nervous and anxious cats, including some strays I've adopted of my own in the past, so I'm happy to meet your cat first to see if we’re a good match.

I also have experience in giving cats tablets if your cat needs medication while you're gone.

If you have other kinds of pets, feel free to message me! I I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as a few rabbits and reptiles. While I may not have extensive experience with every type of animal, I'm always eager to learn and ensure they receive the care they deserve.

Please let me know if you have any specific instructions or preferences for your pets. My main goal is to provide a reliable and trustworthy service that keeps your pets happy and healthy.

If you're going on holiday, I promise not to leave you in a bind if there are any delays in getting home—your animals’ care is my top priority, I always make sure I'm free a few days after any booking ends as a backup!

Just a heads up, I do prefer to meet in person at your home before any overnight stays so we can get acquainted and so I can see where I'll be staying!
