Hi, I'm Kai'a. I'm a 25 year old graduate living in Bishopston and working on Gloucester Road.
I work Thursday-Saturday every week so am available from Sunday-Wednesday during the day as well as most evenings.
As an avid nature lover I would love to have a dog to take out on walks with me. I also miss my cat a great deal as she lives with my parents in Devon and I don't get to see her very often. Being able to spend some time with furry (or feathery, or scaly!) friends makes me so happy!
I am very experienced as a dog walker and in animal care as I have volunteered at animal shelters, zoos, aquariums, and looked after friend's and neighbors pets for years. I have also owned pets ranging from cats and rabbits to insects and currently have a cat called Kiara as well as three stick insects.
I live in Bishopston so my preferred areas to visit are BS6, BS7, BS16, and BS9.
Unfortunately I cannot do doggy daycare at my flat.
I am offering dog walking and pet care.
Happy to water plants, put bins out, and draw curtains etc. if you are away and concerned about security.
As someone who works in a shop I am extra conscious of safety measures put in place due to Covid-19, I wear a mask and social distance when collecting your pet or while in your house if that is what you'd prefer, as well as regularly sanitising my hands before the walk and throughout the day when I'd be caring for your pet at home.
My dog walks last around forty five minutes and home visits between thirty to forty five minutes. If you would like a longer walk for your dog or home visit please message me before booking and I will let you know how to arrange that.
I have a car so am able to take your pet to the vet in case of an emergency, however I prefer to cycle or walk to take care of the planet, which is why my preferred areas to visit are close to my home!
Thank you :)
Kaia was wonderful with both my cats, even persuading my very shy, anxious girl to come and say hello. I have been very impressed with her and will be using her again.
Kaia looked after my four rabbits and was amazing! She sent me regular updates and when I came back I could see they'd been well looked after.
My degree was focused on animal biology and I have experience in caring for cats, dogs, rodents, fish, invertebrates, and reptiles.
