Caring, knowledgeable and friendly pet sitter/dog walker!
Hi, I'm Charlotte! I have worked in a veterinary referral centre for 4 + years and I have completed an Animal Welfare Certificate and Canine First Aid training. I am fully insured. I have cared for and owned dogs, cats, rabbits and small furry's since I was a child. About me: I am 25 and my full time job is with the NHS as a childrens mental health support worker. I am a very active pet sitter and enjoy taking dogs out on adventures when possible!
I currently work from home and will be doing so for the foreseable future, so I tend to have plenty of time on my hands to really enjoy my time with the animals.I have a full and clean DBS - I am able to provide references from my work and current pet sitting if required. I have voulenteered in South Africa to rehabilitate animals and I've also volunteered here in the UK. I take every opportunity to be around animals and i'm caring, friendly, proactive and a lover of nature. Really, I just love animals, and I'll get just as much out of caring for your furry friends as you will! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! About my services
· What's included in the services I offer?
o Dog walking – 30 minutes to 1 hour long. I can do up to 4 a day. My availability is flexible and likely to change over the coming months so please contact me to discuss your needs and my availability.
o Doggy day care – either at your home or mine. I can board 1 dog at a time.
*I can also provide transport*
· How much time you I usually spend with pets on a daily basis o I work for the NHS and I do dog walking and sitting part time. As mentioned above my availability is currently flexible (around 4 hours a day allocated to pet care, not including day care or boarding).
o Walks aside, I can be home with the dogs all day.
· What is my home like? o I live with my partner and we have a house with a medium sized garden (big enough for playtime and toilet). No other animals in the home. o Pets can sleep downstairs in their bed or on the sofa. We can also allow pets upstairs with us if they have a bed provided.
o Garden is secure and fenced. I accept vaccinated and non vaccinated pets - just let me know so I can ensure they do not socialise with other dogs.
Typical day I may have a online work meeting first thing in the morning so I will do this before I start my dog walking. I then spend a few hours of the day out and about walking various dogs (usually, solo, but i can do group walks too). If I have a dog for the day I will take them with me, unless they can't be walked in groups, then they can stay home ( I will ensure this is for 1 hour max by themselves) or with my partner.
Depending on my availbility I will often take the dogs in the car to the woods or a beach for a more adventerous day out. I'm very flexible - please message me to discuss my services further and how i can best suit your needs. I am currently first come first serve and I will always ensure that the dogs I already care for have their needs met above all future bookings.
I look forward to hearing from you!
