Hi there, I'm Nick :) I'm a wildlife cameraman and animal fanatic who works on a freelance basis. The world of wildlife filmmaking is an incredible thing to be part of it but there are often times when I've got gaps between projects and I'd like to fill that time with something productive. As a dog lover, I felt like this would be a good place to start!

I had dogs when I was younger (Golden Retrievers) and have looked after a loooot of dogs over the years. I'm currently my friends go-to for looking after their pups when they're busy and it's a responsibility I'm incredibly happy to have. My partner also has a Pawshake account and frequently has dogs at our place in Bedminster that I help look after. However, she also has a full time job and can't always do it, so I decided I should get my own account and carry on the tradition.

I'm happy to have 2 dogs at once (but no more), happy to walk for as long or as little as you and they want and as many times too as they require (I know some older dogs just need a quick stroll around the park whereas a collie may need a few hours!). I can administer medicine in injection or pill form. I'd be with them all day and, unless stated otherwise, will never leave them on their own or leave them tied up outside a shop. My partner works from home 3 days a week so sometimes it would just be me and somtimes the 2 of us around. It's always great if you can bring a dog bed or their favourite blanket, just so they feel particuarly at ease (especially if overnight), but I have a good dog sized sofa if they like! If they usually sleep in your room then I am hapy for them to do that here too, and likewise if they normally sleep in the living room or kitchen then that can also be arranged.

I have a garden that is nice and big (for Bristol anyway) and very secure, with no access to the main road and I also live very close to Victoria Park which is always a big win with dogs! I like to go off to places outside of Bristol for walks for some variety too in the car. 

All the above also applies to any home visits and stays you may require. When I'm not away for work then I have a lot of free time ,which includes weekends and evenings, so I can very happily adapt to your needs. I will update my calendar accordingly but please always feel free to let me know if you have any sepcific requests.

I get enormous satisfaction from hanging out with dogs and it absolutely makes my day to have a 4 legged companion around :)
