Hello, I'm Zara! I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Bristol.

I'm looking to be a pet sitter, dog walker or house sitter due to my love for animals. Despite not personally owning any pets (besides fish), I've frequently taken care of my aunts' dogs and cats (3 Golden Retrievers and 3+ Cats). Since I was 15 years old, my aunts have entrusted me in pet sitting for them as they recognized the care and love I had for their pets. I began to frequently pet sit for them and I'd leave teary-eyed when it was time for me to go home.

I'm a responsible and committed person who has a big heart for animals. Dogs, especially, have always been much more than just animals to me. They possess an emotional and mental connection with me more than anyone/anything else. It's truly a relationship that runs deeper than just having a "pet" but rather, living with a loyal and dependable companion who gives to you more than they require to be provided for.

This is especially true for one of my aunt's dogs, Kona. Kona has suffered from anxiety since her older brother, Hoosier, passed away 4 years ago. We began giving her doggie anxiety medication, hidden within her daily peanut butter treat. I, too, suffer from anxiety and I feel as though Kona knows that. My relationship with Kona is rather special: she'll only accept comfort from me when she's feeling anxious and when I'm in need of a companion, she'll be by my side for support. The bond between Kona and I is undescribable and an innate result from the connection I share with animals.

You can count on me to dedicate myself to caring and loving your pets unconditionally. I'm an experienced dog walker, especially of larger dogs. I'd gladly spend all day playing with your pets and ensuring they are safe and happy.

I offer a range of services and I’m flexible to meet your (and your pet’s) needs. I’m available for dog walking, pet sitting (day/overnight) and more! You can rest assured that your pets are in good hands and you’ll receive lots of pictures and updates too. In my free time, I love going hiking and exploring new places. I’d love to bring a new furry companion along if you’d like :)

** Please note that I serve BS1/BS2/BS4/BS8 areas. However, if you reside in other areas, I'll be happy to discuss an arrangement as long as there is easy access to and from the city centre. Additionally, day sitting services will take place at your residence as I reside in student accommodation which unfortunately does not allow animals **
