I have always helped my friends or neighbours take care of their dogs and cats. I love taking care of pets because they make me feel happy whenever I see them jumping around or laying on my thigh which motivates me to do my stuff as well. I can say I'm more of a cat person because I find cats cute but I take care of dogs more than cats because I understand usually cats can just stay at home and they don’t need to go out for a walk, so that's why it's rare for a cat owner to ask someone else to help them take care of their cat.

Here’s my schedule for pet sitting (it’s different for cats):

Morning: Once I wake up, I will bring the dog out for a walk immediately in Clifton Downs then come back for breakfast. So the dog will be eating at the same time as me. If it’s raining, then I will walk around my neighbourhood because the mud in Clifton downs is too wet.

Afternoon: If I’m going out to do groceries then I will bring the dog out with me and I normally buy my groceries in the Clifton supermarket so I will call my friend to take care of the dog outside the supermarket. Otherwise, I will just play with the dog in my flat.

Evening: Before I sleep, I will bring the dog out for a short walk again. For the sleeping place, I will just let them decide where they want to sleep in the room. They can sleep with me on the bed as well if they feel comfortable sleeping on the bed.
