Hello. I am Klaudia. I am polish and I moved to Bristol in March. I want to practise my English skills and extend my knowledge about animal behaviour. I also want to work with animals in the future. For now I am travelling, volunteering, studying and learning how to live on this planet. I love animals, nature and people. I want to make this world better every day. I am interested in other cultures, languages and food. :D I like cycling, walking, talking and listening. I think that its important to have passion in life and my passions are getting to know everything which is different and unknown (travelling) and volunteering (animals). I am a volunteer since i was 13 years old. At first I was organising festives for children during holidays. Then i took part in global village event and we were organising multicultural meetings for people from every nation to integrate and to get to know each other cultures. Then in secondary school at the age of 15 I joined charity "przyjazna łapa" and very soon after I could work in the shelter. I took care of dogs there and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. I was so happy to see their joy - waving their tails just because they have the chance to leave the box for an hour for walk. And they were so willing to hug me haha .. thankful beings... I always wanted a dog and begged my mum for at least one haha :D At first she didn't want to agree for it (and now i know she was right - it is a huge resposibility and i was a bit too young) so she bought me a hamster instead. After two years i got another one. And then finally after about 5 years i got a dog! Little shih tzu. I adore him. :) As i love all dogs and othert animals. I think at the beginning it was just nice to have animals around me as i grew up in the village with my grandparents. We got many farm animals and i always loved to take care of them. But as time passed i realised many things like they are very important and we are obligate to take care especially for pets which we (people) tamed many years ago. I also think that animals can cause positive energy, calmness and nice warm feelings. I think they have positive affect on us so i encourage everyone for adopting (the other important thing is that there are too many abandoned pets everywhere) and ensuring resposible care and loving home for them. I also know that there are different situations in life that may scare someone that he/she can't manage to take care well or someone just want to go for vacation or they have guests allergic to fur... reasons are many so here we are... people who are willing to help in taking care of your pet.
Currently i work in the centre (Cabot Circus) usually from 8 or 9-9:30 till 3 or 4 pm.

I gain petsitter skills through trainings and courses before and during my voluntary job in my home town. I was a volunteer for four years in the shelter and in the charity. I always want to improve my skills and knowledge about animals but i also just use my heart to make them feel love and meet their needs properly.
