Hello! 

I love animals, and I have been missing being around them since moving to the UK (2020). I have done various stints of pet/house sitting over the years mostly for friends and family, and a few people via word of mouth. I often go house and cat sit for friends in Hertford and London as well as keep their plants hydrated. I have cat sat for my ex-boss, dog sat my cousin’s beagle Baxter (and at the same time unexpectedly got asked for two other dogs to join who needed looking after, which I was happy to oblige) as well as looked in on other people’s pets when needed. 

I have owned animals my whole life! I grew up on a large plot in South Africa surrounded by multiple dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, budgies, as well as some pet rats, mice and snakes! My parents always gave me a lot of responsibility with the animals which I think gave me a deeper connection to them. Any dogs I’ve owned I have done at least basic training with them at a dog training school – I’ve also nearly got my cats to sit for food! ;) I have my own two cats at the moment (Kai and Olly), but they currently are being cared for (read spoilt) by my parents! 

I’m a freelance graphic designer, currently also studying nutritional therapy. So I am quite flexible and work from home, so if I am sitting your house I will be around your pet so they won’t feel alone. I unfortunately can’t have pets in my house, but happy to house sit or pop in on a pet as needed (depending on my schedule).

I can drive so happy to travel within reason.
