Hi all! I'm Sophia, 33 and have called Bristol my home since the end of 2020. 

After graduating from a Bachelor of Psychology in Berlin I am now working as a UX Designer. From a studio space I'm renting or from home - this means that when I look after a dog in the week they'll need to be used to me working with a big walk over lunch and little play breaks throughout the day. The weekend however is for adventures 🐶 👧 🌳 

I've been surrounded by animals all my life, all starting with my biggest love Emilio (a rabbit) who turned 12 years old; cats, dogs... and I used to work as a horse riding instructor at London's Hyde Park Stable and at Sydney's Centennial Park Stables. 

While living in London I regularly looked after english pointer puppy Wallace and helped with his training and getting him used to everything a young dog needs to know in the big city. I found and adopted a very poorly cat, took care of him and named him Rufus. He’s still happy as ever in the super loving long term home I found for him when I left London.

The regular stays at farms throughout my childhood have definitely shaped me too - so if anyone has cows in need of cuddles or looking after please also get in touch, I’d love to be their friend :)

P.S i have recently moved in with my partner, who is brilliant with animals (he is a wildlife cameraman) and now live in Bedminster. We have a garden and are close to Victoria Park 🪴 

Also: I only ever look after one dog at a time!
