Hello there !! My name is Keziah (or Kez if that’s easier), I am 21 and currently in my second year of studying psychology at University of Bristol; planning to hopefully become an art therapist when I graduate. 

I am originally from a small town near Brighton and have two pets I miss dearly, at home: a miniature wire-haired dachshund (Otto) and a ragdoll cat (parsnip). I have grown up around animals my whole life, I have owned a variety of pets (axolotl, rabbit, snakes, even a ferret!) In addition to this, growing up, my closest auntie lived in Cyprus. Her, being one of the biggest animals lovers I know, when she saw the amount of strays, she had take them in !! Slowly, we started feeding more and more, which lead to us nursing a ridiculous amount of kittens and ending up with about 30 cats to feed !! All this to say, the sudden change in starting university and rarely seeing any animals, has felt rather lonely. 

I have worked in the hospitality industry for three years but in more recent years have focused on working with small businesses; I realised being able to know and trust who I work with, is extremely important to me. Bristol is such a big city and I have found most places are just too busy for anyone to actually get to know each other. I feel as though building a good and trusting relationship is especially essential in pet sitting which is one of the reasons I feel like such a good fit for this position. After three years of dealing with difficult customers, I can deal with anything !! I also spend the majority of my free time painting for my friends (often their pets), so the extra inspiration would be lovely !! (And of course, any painting that may occur, would rightfully belong to the owner of the pet featured).
