Hi I'm Alice, I'm currently a postgraduate student at UWE Bristol where I research science communication. I have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Sheffield and I'm passionate about the natural world; talking about it, walking around in it and teaching about it. I'm an animal lover which is usually required when you do a degree in zoology. I have a family dog back home in Birmingham called Chester who is a cheeky, but loving Labrador and I care for him regularly on my trips home. Before Chester we had another Labrador called Buster who was big, boisterous and beautiful, I regularly walked and played with him for the 12 years we had him.
I have lots of experience walking and playing with Labradors who are a large energetic breed, alongside previously walking greyhounds for a local rescue centre. I have also pet sit for an owner of three gorgeous cats and kept them well cared for and entertained. When we first had Chester early last year I attended puppy training classes and have used these to train Chester in basic commands and free walking.
I would love to pet sit/walk your pets as I adore animals in any shape or form and quite simply, I miss them when I’m away from home! I enjoy spending time outside and regularly go on long walks, so I may as well have some company. Do get in contact if you would like to meet up and talk more about your needs and what I can offer you.
Alice has been walking Luna for a number of weeks. She is a lovely young lady who adores animals. She has built a fabulous relationship with Luna. We have really good open communications; she is reliable, trustworthy & Luna thinks Alice is fab too! Would highly recommend!
Alice was lovely. She was the first Pawshake sitter we’ve booked and we’ll be booking her again. She was v easy to communicate with and sent photos of Bruce over the weekend which we loved. She clearly loves dogs 😊
