Hi I'm Karen and I'm a full time, experienced dog walker, pet carer and sitter. I'm fully insured and DBS checked and have run my own business since 2018. I am passionate about animals and have lived with all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, birds, rats, hamsters) since being a child. Over the last few years we have rescued around 7 cats so now our home is more like a cat haven with cardboard boxes everywhere!

As a dog walker I don't very often walk more than 4 dogs at a time. It just gives me confidence that I have more control with any situations that may arise. Also this way I feel I can give the dogs more one to one attention than if there was a big group. I run a pick up service where I collect the dogs from home, take them out for an hours walk at a local field, then drop them home after. I currently do walks between 11am and 3pm but am open to any times to suit needs. The dogs always have full access to water during and after walks. I'm more used to average size dogs of any age.

As well as dog walking I provide pet home visits where I will pop in and feed your dog/cat and sit and play with them so they have company while you're at work, I can do this as a half an hour pop in (for feeding, changing litter trays etc) or an hour (feeding, playing, extra company)

I also provide a pet sitting service where I will stay with your pet overnight in their own home. Through experience I have learned that this service is good for keeping stress levels or anxiety to a minimum for pets that are unsure of different surroundings or new faces. During the hours I am with your pet I will feed them and make sure they have access to toilet breaks as often as needed. I will update you with pics during the sit too. Times for overnight stays can be agreed between us to accommodate the necessary needs and requirements of your pet. If during the time I am with them I see anything of concern I will of course update you.

I am very lucky to be able to be quite flexible with my visits, walks and sittings so can work with you to fulfil everything your pet needs.

I'm very friendly and care deeply for animals and their welfare is extremely important to me. I pride myself in treating any animal as if they are my own. I am current DBS checked, fully insured and trained in Dog First Aid and can present these certificates on meeting.
