Poppy

I am a 24-year-old animal lover that runs the dog walking and pet sitting company Petite Paws. I adore all animals, both big and small. I have grown up with a range of animals from big mountain dogs and German shepherds, to energetic spaniels, there's no breed I don't fall for. My dog experience has taught me how dogs all have very individual personalities and need to be handled in a way they feel comfortable.

I have a cockapoo called Kea who will be coming on all our group walks, she's very playful and loves everyone and everything! I have also grown up with a German shepherd who can be nervous of new dogs and strangers, she will not be coming on the walks, but I am aware of how to handle these situations if your dog needs a more careful introduction.

I have also spent a lot of time with a Springer spaniel who is very demanding for attention, of course I would love to provide your pet with the attention they need. I also used to own a Pyranese mountain dog who was very independent, again she taught me how larger dogs need to be handled, particularly when they want their own way. I have always enjoyed spending my spare time going for walks and spending my time outdoors, so I would love to add your furry friend to make this time even better. Not only do I have a passion for dogs, but my love extends to smaller animals having owned pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and rabbits.

I currently have two adorable mini-lops who both have very different personalities. With this adorable pair that I

spend most of their time flopped together, I have learned how to carefully handle smaller animals who may be more weary of humans and the specific care they need.

Whilst some people may think smaller animals don't need the company of humans quite as much, I know how attached they can become to their owners and how important it can be to find someone who knows what they need and give them some time out the cage whilst you are busy.

I would love to look after and give some play time to your small pet, making sure they're happy, and looked after properly - though I think they may actually be making me the happy one!
