I love having animals around me. I’ve had rabbits, ferrets, snakes, Hamsters, horses, dogs and cats as pets through out my life. I even had to babysit a lion cub once. In South Africa I was a Auxiliary Game ranger and loved working with all kinds of animals.
I don’t mind unvaccinated pets.
When we go on holiday, we don’t want to leave our Furbabies at the kennels and that’s why I want to pet sit. To help the owner and most important, the furbaby. They should stay at home where they know their surroundings. The only pet I won’t petsit is a spider.
I’m happy taking dogs for walks and visit lonely cats at home for a cuddle, play, clean litter tray and feed (am and pm). Usually early morning before work or after work around 6:30pm. On my days off I’m happy to change the times.
At the moment I’ve got a Border Collie named Jessie (12), a crazy cat called Mochi (1), a grumpy cat named Misty (12) and her daughter Frankie (10)
If your pet needs medication, I’m happy to administer it.
I prefer home visits because Jessie is old and a bit grumpy. In the future I will be able to bring animals into my home but right now Jessie needs to stay stress free. I can bring smaller pets like hamsters and birds to my home to pet sit.
